256.1bhp fly with 229.60bhp at the wheels

234lb/ft Max Torque

I'm just glad the prototype turbo boost pipe didn't play up. Seems the FMIC has made a nice approx 9bhp since the previous run.

Good results on the R32 :P

My rally ho gti!

On its best run;

Power at wheels - 125.38bhp

Max torque - 114.81 lbs

Power at fly - 140bhp or a little more aparently, it didnt print out on the comp

so this is just what the rr tester told me.

The run before that one was 112.98 torque, 122.92 at wheels and 138.54 at fly.

Just out of interest i always thought that gti's were supposed to be 125bhp at the wheels

standard? Or was that figure supposed to be from the fly?

All powers are usually quoted from the fly :) so thats pretty quick!

Got the figures from my stafford base now:

Standard Lupo Sport:

Max clutch power =

104.17bhp

Max Power at wheels = 89.20bhp

Max torque 87.30 lb ft

Standard is 92 lb ft. Not the best then :( still 5 up on standard with bhp. tranmission losses seem a bit high though compared to the others

What map did you go for on your VRS Steve?

Matt - it's a Jabbasport custom map. Not really behaving as it should, because my turbo isn't serving up boost properly. I've fitted an FMIC and EGR bypass pipe since my last Awesome RR run in November and not gained any horses, and torque has dropped by nearly 50!

Anyone else had previous runs on Awesome's rollers that they can compare to? This torque figure from yesterday is really confusing me. Just wanna check whether it's just a quirk of my car or not. Could be, as my turbo gets closer to retirement, but my BHP figure is consistent.

Cheers,

Steve

I've been mulling this over, whether it's possible for the turbo to be on it's way out but still be able to return decent bhp figures. Just pondering over the torque being dependant upon compressor wheel/housing clearance but within reason it not affecting bhp? Tis a confusing one, and it can only be solved by a dirty great Turbo Dynamics upgrade Wardy :)

Once it's boosting correctly l'm sure it's gonna be a bullet :P
