Hope you have fun guys - I'm running a Briskoda Awesome day two weekend before you, on the 15th Nov Cheers, Steve
-
Wardy started following which brake pads?? , Awesome GTI rolling road day , RR day results and 1 other
-
Excellent - saw a few vacancies up on the site What are you going to be doing there? All the best with it Steve
-
Oh don't worry, I'm no stranger to Awesome I organised the last Briskoda RR day there, and I might look into sorting another one out in a little while October 07 details: http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/rollingroad/r...a_20.10.07.html (I ran fourth) And back in Nov 06, my Ibiza and standard runs from Chris's Megane: http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/rollingroad/r...a_04.11.06.html Cheers, Steve

You're more than likely spot on Turbo has since failed anyway, so upgrade has been brought forward. Will then have it back to Jabba for map adjustment Cheers, Steve
-
Matt - it's a Jabbasport custom map. Not really behaving as it should, because my turbo isn't serving up boost properly. I've fitted an FMIC and EGR bypass pipe since my last Awesome RR run in November and not gained any horses, and torque has dropped by nearly 50! Anyone else had previous runs on Awesome's rollers that they can compare to? This torque figure from yesterday is really confusing me. Just wanna check whether it's just a quirk of my car or not. Could be, as my turbo gets closer to retirement, but my BHP figure is consistent. Cheers, Steve
-
Haha, no worries - thanks anyway mate Steve
-
177.38 flywheel, 161.56 wheels, 253.38 lb/ft torque. Cheers, Steve
-
Great day guys - thanks for letting some Skodas run too Will pop some photos/video in that separate thread as soon as I've sorted through... Cheers, Steve
-
Great shots Will sort through my photos and video and put some online - hopefully later. Cheers, Steve
-
You can always rely on our lot Steve
-
Ahh yes, splendid Now let's not get carried away, the deal isn't done yet and it's gotta go away for fettling yet! Still, there should certainly be some more bits on since the last time it ran Steve
-
Nice one Chris - looking forward to it. Let's see how many bits I can get fitted between now and then eh? Just a two car convoy for us this time then? Steve
-
Yep, fairly easy: http://www.multimap.com/maps/?&hloc=GB|M445AH Steve

Just to bump this - you've probably already decided though! The Mintex Xtremes are well regarded by your VAG cousins on Briskoda I run DS2500s up front on the Fabia at the moment and can't fault them. There's no denying, they're pricey though. For a combination of good value for money and performance, go with the Mintex. HTH, Steve

I can easily round a few up from elsewhere in the VAG stable Steve
