lupodave
Well you'd think if it wasn't him he'd have made an statement seeing as though it was his 'chopper?I really hope it isn't him though, I've met all the McRaes and a big follower of rallying, I'll be devestated if it is him. First Richard Burns, now possibly this.. just not fair. British rally drivers don't get enough recognition as it is.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/arti...in_page_id=1954http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,70131-1284278,00.html Edited September 15, 2007 by lupodave
Crusoe
His chopper and he was usually the pilot so pretty certain it will be him. Not a bad way to go out with a bang as it were but a shame as he was a sound guy. Met him a couple of times and he and nicky grist even stayed for a pint once instead of going straight through to the ba executive lounge when they were waiting on a flight out of heathrow. Silver!
Been to the Colin Mcrae stages each year since I moved to Perth. One year I was admiring the cars in the holding area and two drivers came over and passed comments on my dog. Yep, Colin and Mr McRae Snr.Really nice couple of guys, had a nice chat about gun dogs and Perth!Sad loss to his family and British Motorsport!R
