  1. Ronal LSs look super schweet on a Lupo.
  2. Long time no update... probable because not a lot has happened to the Lupo recently since I've gone back to Uni. Until now! After a few uber foggy journeys recently decided to fit some fogs. Now I'm a cheapskate student so didn't want to buy all parts brand new from the stealers and second hand stuff was seeming hard to get hold of. I really didn't want to spoil the look of the car by just bolting some on to the front of the bumper so set about thinking what else I could do and what lights I could fit. In the end I decided to buy a new lower bumper with fog apetures and fit some of these lights: http://www.ringautomotive.co.uk/product_detail.asp?prod=1064 Decided on these because they're not that expensive, look quite cool and blend in really well with the front of the car and claim to be good in bad weather. Fitting was a bit trial and error making some brackets out of aluminium. A picture says a thousand words but if you want a detailed 'how to' of the brackets then PM me! There are 2 black self tapping screws, top and bottom, on each side to stop them sliding off the back. These brackets are so rigid, the fogs aren't going anywhere! After mounting them all that was left to do was get them on the car. Swapped the lower bumper and wired them in using the posts in the 'how to' section. They look even better on the car, I've yet to test them out on the road though and not got any pics of them on yet as it was raining today when I finished. Will get some up ASAP though.
  3. Does anyone know of any decent breakers/scrap yards/etc in the South Manchester/Stockport/Buxton region of the country that's good for Lupo bits?? I'm after a lower bumper with fogs if anyone has one!! Ta.
  4. I've had both tubes and boxes in my cars.. got to say a sub in a sealed box will give miles better thump and kick than a tube. Plus I custom made my box so it fits nicely in my boot rather than having a roll of carpet taking up the whole thing as bass tubes can be bigger than you think! and you'll get a nice sub/amp/box package for £250 easily
  5. My one is BOGOF for students so it's not that bad, score!
  6. that's cool.. but i wouldn't have the patience.
  7. the seat levers are just a fit pushment i think, probs falling off either because you're not lining them up properly or the lever bit inside the seat has snapped off also. As for the glove box, involves cutting of the dash and will take a few hours but seems straight forward enough. I hope you have good DIY skills for that factory look! Nice grille Got any pics of your stereo setup?!
  8. Michael 'Beef' Park as well a couple of years ago, not a good time for British rally driving at present at all.
  9. I've got BBC News 24 on now.. Police are saying 4 were on board, 1 likely to be Colin Nothing formal until tomorrow.
  10. Well you'd think if it wasn't him he'd have made an statement seeing as though it was his 'chopper? I really hope it isn't him though, I've met all the McRaes and a big follower of rallying, I'll be devestated if it is him. First Richard Burns, now possibly this.. just not fair. British rally drivers don't get enough recognition as it is. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/arti...in_page_id=1954 http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,70131-1284278,00.html
  11. All over the news http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgo...est/6996860.stm http://edition.cnn.com/2007/SPORT/09/15/mcrae.crash/
  12. Cutest thing ever! Someone needs to start a pets of CL thread!
  13. Your eyes won't sample at exactly the same time as the TV so having higher sampling on the TV means the TV and your eyes are more likely to be in sync, hence a clearer picture
  14. I still think you'd get more uneven wear across the whole tyre though if it was camber related but hey ho. Just look at Phil's (Philplop). From the pic above, the wear looks very concetrated on the shoulder of the tyre so unless you're running so much camber that only the shoulder of the tyre is on the deck...! Edited to add:
  15. That tyre wear is not to do with camber, you can tell that because the tread on the tyre is even and the wear is very concentrated. It's probably been rubbing on your coilovers or a brake line or something. Check for signs of rubbing in the arch on various sticky outy bits and I'm sure you'll soon find the source of your problem

  19. Not really, it's just a simple weld job and securing the fuel line. The hardest bit will be matching the paint as it's a black car!
