R99
Just read this thread. Great car & very impressive conversion.Makes me want to get saving for a few years in order to afford something similar, because like yourself I would have to pay a garage for the conversion. What wheels are you running? I fear it might be a stupid question, but I am new to the DUB world!

My_Names_Buck
the Zenders do rock! They wernt polished enough imo at UD Saw your old bumper at greg howells the other week!Still my favourite non gti I know they'd been off the car for ages and i then realised that starting polishing at 7 pm the friday evening wasn't the best plan of attack the two backs are quite pitted and in need of a trip to the polishers I think, will get them sorted for international though if i had more time I reckon the fronts will come up a bit more. haha u likes poppin down there dont ya, lol. I keep thinking of things i really want done on the body.... might have to go and see him again i think
My_Names_Buck
mmmmm..... broke another engine mounting again last night part of the bolt has sheered off with the nut still attached on the drivers side. second time this has happened on this side now, engine just wants to escape lol! Apparently VF Engineering don't make an uprated mount for this one either soo its gonna just have to be another oem part for the time being. I'm gonna try and look round to see if i can't get something custom made fabricated, preferably with a thicker bolt i think!! unless anyone else has got any ideass?? Sam. Sam.Hi there i have been following this project and it looks great.I'm building a 1.8 turbo lupo aswell in the netherlands.Wich kind of engine mount did you use?Is it an oem audi tt mount, I thougt I recognised the other mounton the gearbox side as a golf mk4 or audi tt oem mount, before you got the one from regal. Is that correct. What a great car you have.Regards RonThe netherlands

Save changing it later on The driver side is a mount off a seat ibiza tdi, im currently on the look out for an uprated mount on that side as from the picture you can see the problem.... :s lolSam. It was seriously hot there on saturday when I was there which was affecting performance more and more throughout the day. Boost kept on dropping off especially in forth and fifth gears I need water/meth injection I think Video 1video 2Video 3I have a few more vids that I will upload later on Sam. TomStevo
and with the bolt braking whats it made out of? could look at possibly using a bolt made from a stronger material lol
