I've just been told a funny one...

My fiancee was just out in the lupo, and was at a petrol station filling up. Some young boy comes up to her in the shop and goes:

fool: Hi is that your Lupo Gti???

Mrs: Yeah?

fool: Ah nice car.... Next time get the TURBO version...

If this same thing happens to you please give him a slap and educate him!

Many Thanks

Neil

You think thats bad, try living with my car. No-one and I mean no-one has ever figured out what my car is (outside the club) including the police.

Its quite funny some of the ideas people have had about my car.

Had a few of these type of occurances myself.

"Is it a turbo because it has twin exhaust pipes?"

"Is your's the black estate car at pump 3?"

No mine is the really small hatchback car at pump 3!

"Your car sounds broken making all that noise"

No its the throttle bodies that make it sound like that.

"Oh right, at least you know what is wrong with it"

My car initially came with a TDi badge instead of an SDi one and once while filling up i was asked:

fool: Is it the 1.9 TDi with 90bhp?

me: no, this one is the 130bhp version

fool: wow! that's got to be real fast!

me: yeah, sure it is!

I said to someone, "oooh I really want a Lupo GTi", and the reaction was "Cool, that's similar to a VTR isn't it?".

No, No it is definitely not mad.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />
