I think this may be High speed and Low speed Can, usually cars will have 2 CAN systems, running to different ECUs depending on the bandwidth they require. Not sure about the external bit though?

Theres two screws under the dial cover. Remove these and you can slide the top off, then theres another 3 or 4 screws to take the underside of the cover off, and then you'll be able to see the screws holding the clocks in. Hope thats right, its been a while since I did it. Have a look at the dash removal in the How- To section, think its in there.

Pretty sure the immobiliser is built into the clocks, and thats why you need the clocks and key from the engine thats going in. (to make the conversion easier anyway)

I had a fantasia green lupo, and wanted to add some red to it after I saw someone walking around in a nike hoody that was an identical colour with red graphics on it. I say go for it! :shades:

That was my first thought, but prices are all over, so wasn't sure what to put them on as. I thought if they had some special encryption or something it might be worth getting a drive and keeping backups on, but after reading a bit, you can only use 750mb disks with 750mb drives, and they're quite a bit more than the 100mb drives.

When I moved into my new flat, I found a load of these (50 x 750mb) disks, all brand spanking, sealed up. I've heard of them, but never knew of anyone thats used them. There disk readers on ebay for next to nothing, so I was wondering whats the point? Ive got a 1tb hard drive so hardly need the extra 37.5gig, but if there's any use for them that I've not noticed, they might be worth keeping. Does anyone on here use them?

Apparently there only going to be available to aston owners, an everyday car to sit next to your weekend car. If thats the case, its a great idea, something easy on petrol, with all the prestige and luxury of its bigger brothers. Plus you can say not only can I afford an Aston, I can afford a stupidly prices IQ on top!

From the video, it looks like the bonnet slides forward to reveal the filler caps, presumably from a bonnet catch inside.
