Hi 3lward, If you were to PM me with the chassis and registration number of your Arosa, l'll double check the bulb holders this end, as l was only looking at an early listing of the bulb holders, whilst looking at you enquiry. Hi Beth, Long time no speak, lol. Was it realy as long ago as that, doesn't time fly, lol. When l bought the car l had new brake pads and discs fitted, which was back in mid 2007, from memory, as the old ones were nearly shot. They were the only pads and discs that were ever put on the car when l had it, so they must have been due a change. Don't feel bad about selling it, as l was in the same predicament myself, when I'd just bought the Golf GTi and couldn't afford to keep both going in reality. Perhaps a Golf or a Passat Estate maybe a better choice for you, as these do have a condierably larger boot, lol. Best of luck in finding your new car. No hard feelings whatsoever! Regards, Dale.

Hi all, A friend of mine had just informed me that my old Lupo GTi is now up for sale again on Ebay. Item No;# 280830292430 l'm gutted really, as l didn't really want to sell her. All my money is tied up in a Golf GTi 2.0 Turbo Mk V, otherwiese l'd buy her back in a instant. I hope whoever buys her, will look after it the same as I did. As it want's for nothing, lol. Just a respray upon the front bumper apparently. According to the current owner, who hasn't had it for long really! The asking price is £3,250.00 with a 'Best Offer' option. I sold her last autumn for £2,600.00 with 6 months tax! What a fool I was, lol. My thanks goes to James Brown for letting me know! It might be worth a look, for all members and non members alike who are in the market for a really good example of a Lupo GTi. There's 102k on the clock now, whereas it was at 94k from memory when I sold the car. Hi Gav, Upon the underside of the cowl are two screws that hold both the upper & lower parts together. You may need a torch to see them. Remove them, then with a small screwdriver or similar carefully lift out the upper section. At the back there maybe some clips that hold them both together, it's been years since l last had to remove one, lol. Let me know how you get on if you like. Regards, Dale (Lupoboz).

How about a Lotus Exige in bright orange, they go like stink and you won't be able to lose it in the car park, lol. That's if a good second hane one can be found for that sort of money. Even the smaller engined Elise still handles like a roller skate! Or save the money for a rainy day and enjoy the MX5, as Top Gear are always raving about them. l hope you really enjoy whatever you set your sights on.

Hi tmwp, There are a choice of sumps for the AFK engine, which was only used in manufacture for Lupo's between 2000 & 2001. The choices are either the sump being made of steel or aluminium. Please PM me with the chassis or VIN or registration number of your Lupo, then l'll be able to accertain which sump pan you require with prices etc.. Let me know when you can if you like. They look like a Halfords specials to me. If there's no markings upon the reverse of the wheels, then it's anyone's guess. From memory though they faintly resemble old Vauxhall Corsa wheels, but l could be mistaken!

Hi Guys, You could always try this breakers yard, as they maybe able to help as they had a few Lupo's on site very recently. They may still have them. I've not been in touch with them myself, but you never know until you ask. By the looks of it, they've all had front end smashes/prangs, although there maybe a wing or two that's salvageable. They're contact details are; G M Woodgate & Son High Halden Ashford Kent TN26 3HX (01233) 850303 All 4 have had front end smashes description of each one below Black Lupo Se - front end drivers smashed - no doors and alot of the interior missing, incorrect rear lights. Black 1.0E - front end smash with a lamppost or similar (dead centre) lights still good. With light grey interior - boot not attached otherwise complete. White 1.0e - front end drivers smash with light grey interior, very complete. Blue 1.0se (not shark version) - driver front end smash - very heavy impact as airbags deployed. Alot is stripped from this one but the doors is still there as well as the boot, there is some dark grey interior left. Blue Seat Arosa Mk1, front end impact - some interior bit missing in light grey, boot lid glass smashed with dents. Regards, Lupoboz.
