  4. For a cleaner look, I don't think they do much anyway on the side of dinks, most cars are taller than Lupos so they just hit the door higher....

  15. The guy's got a pretty huge post count to be fair and figured he may as well ask on a forum he's familiar with on the off chance someone might know the answer. Not a particularly ridiculous thing to do imo.

  16. Some detailing work done this morning My near side arch liner came out at the rear, there Lupo GTi ones modified to fit and I think I made them too well as it snagged the bumper as it came out, it broke the clip on the wheel arch and ripped it off the screw on the underside, it also made the panel gap between the boot and bumper uneven.. Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Off it came to make repairs and see why it wasn't fitting correctly Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Couldn't help myself but clean up all that dirt behind the bumper! Just under seal left now Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr After a good look around it was just the bumper had been taken away from a lip on the car and wasn't seated right, after refitting it correctly it sat perfect, time to wash it and detail it before it goes back on the car Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Not sure why my umber plates all scratched, had it out and the frame off for a clean up too.. Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Almost ready to go back on, just touched up some areas on the bumper itself and also gave my tail pipe a lick of high temp silver paint to freshen it up a little Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Panel gap sorted, needs a wash! Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr After a wash and quick detail Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Gave the Lupo rears a good going over with some Auto Glym glass polish Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Untitled by Ralphoto!, on Flickr That's all of today's hard work. Next week I need to clean the rear seats and engine bay. Extremely excited about pay day too, good things will be happening!! Adam

  17. I used grey primer and Skoda metallic silver, I have a paint code somewhere, il try to find it for you, it was matched up to the original G60 colour by a friend who knows his paint etc Cheers dude! I'm sure you can get yours to as good as mine, I've really not put much money into it, I just taken some time out to clean and polish it, then keep ontop of it once a week Well, small updates, this week my MOT was due, some small jobs to be done... - Failed Lambda sensor, the second one, post cat. - Hazard warning switch only operating the right indicators when activated. - Lift the ride height, I couldn't get it down the road to the garage, never mind get it over his rollers and on his ramp! - Fill a small hole in my backbox with some exhaust repair paste. - Typically my brake light bulb failed the night before too, so a new bulb. - The new side repeaters just had normal 501 bulbs and not amber ones, they where changed also. - Remove boot build. Jacked up in the garage ready to sort this lambda.. Rear by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Lifted by Ralphoto!, on Flickr The offending article.. Failed lambda by Ralphoto!, on Flickr And then the next day I set about raising the ride height, changing the wheels and removing the spacers... Adjusting ride height... by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Removed the boot build as last year he tried to lift it up and pulled the carpet off, thought best to take it out this time.. Boot space! by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Then how Clive sat for a day... Not spec by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Then after the MOT, happily it passed, it took me all of 30 minutes to slam it, space it, rim it, bass it, and even put my new sidelight bulbs in to match my fogs, they look pretty mean at night, il try get a photo sometime Lights by Ralphoto!, on Flickr Clives going camping next week so il get some holiday snaps for you all Adam
