lupogtiboy
Hello and welcome to the club!Nice Jetta! Don't see many modded ones in this country, which is a shame as they look ace (IMO!!)Also, nice Lupo! Check out www.howmanyleft.co.uk to find out how many there are.... looking at the site, seems they peaked at 344 back in 2003 and now there are 298 taxed and 15 sorned, so rarer than a GTI!!!Check straps are 6E0 837 249 C and cost around £20+vat ish iirc... danoid
Whats so different about the cambridge edition? air con, sun roof etc as standard or something? Guessing different rear back lights as everyone bangs on about "cambridge" lights
lupogtiboy
VW retail price for the check straps is £23.87 inc vat eachI believe the Cambridge (or SE in the UK) came with the darkened rear lenses, Suzuka alloy wheels and only in 'that' green or black, and some bag I've never seen! Silver!
The interior trim was "special" too. The bag was the size of the boot. I did buy one, but only used it once and sold it on as it was too big to cart into hotel foyers. The material matches the SE interior. jon_273
also says cambridge on the gear knobInteresting... wonder if the previous owner fitted that. Only the ones sold in europe had that on them, since it was sold as an 'SE' rather than 'Cambridge' in the UK.
