Hello everybody

you're looking at the proud and happy new member of ClubLupo, after I purchased my 2005 1.4 TDI Black Lupo yesterday, after a long time waiting for the right thing to come up. Here's a picture, excuse the numberplate censoring...

Some of you may recognise me from clubpolo? I'm honestly chuffed to bits with the car. It drives beautifully, is nippy as anything and is exactly what I've been after for a while. The MPG on these little things is crazy too. Awesome cars, very well built.

The car is going to stay standard for now, until my insurance is up for renewal - or atleast until winter is over. After all, I'm only on an apprenticeship wage! I used to drive a lowered 1.3 mk3 polo on banded steels - very different to this! This has about 3 million times the torque too (slight exaggeration but not much), I can get up hills without losing all my momentum. Can honestly say, i've already fallen in love with the lupo!

Will post more pics soon. Spent two hours if not more this morning polishing the car, for it then to get soaking wet and muddy. All part of the fun though aye!

Hope to see you at some shows next year, feel free to stop me and say hi if you recognise the car :shades:

All the best,

Dan

ps - any club lupo merchandise available? let me know.

Hi & welcome - Looks like a very nice Lupo TDI there mate! Must be one of the last ones being an 05 plate!

I own a 2004 - 53 registered Lupo TDI & think that it's great!

Thanks for the compliments everyone - I had been waiting a while for something like this to come up! I do believe it is one of the last TDI's, as the TDI's seem fairly uncommon compared to the others. Didn't pay THAT much for it though, considering some 1.0 53(ish) plate lupo's are on eBay for upwards of 3 grand!!

Does anyone know if you can get a 55 plate Lupo or was 05 the last period they made them. I assume there's a couple of people who registered them late etc, but is it common?

The cars are great. Awesome fun to drive! Cheap to run too. As for the toys - I've never seen other lupo's inside so I can't comment too much. It seems pretty posh, but then ive just come from an old lupo! It does have a lovely double DIN in it though, with sat nav and Bluetooth hands free and what not.

There seems to be a lot more space than you'd expect from such a little car though!!

Anyone from the South East ish, and fancy going to any meets soon? Would be nice to grab some photos with other lupo's!

There was the incident where we were discussing those love making machines, I posted up a picture of the guy who invented them, I took the picture myself in the Museum of sex NYC, I didn't notice there was a large **** in the background.
