Hi Paul, welcome. Get some pictures up, keeping the bathursts is a good shout, they suit GTis too much to change.

Welcome Bruno!

Welcome Jamie! Good luck in bringing your Lupo back to life

Couple of Coilover Queries!
Al3xTee replied to frost's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
Ignore the spam, it'll be gone soon hopefully. Has the creaking stopped now you've pulled the cover off? Perhaps try reseating it? -
Are you looking at putting the springs on standard shocks?
-
Clean GTi. Not so good on the parking..

Welcome 15 years without a VW is upsetting!
-
Welcome to CL enjoy your motor
-
Welcome, I'm not sure if it's the same as a mk2, but I had my power cable through the grommet the rear washer tube is fed through, which leads to the top right of the foot well, you will need to strip the carpet back obviously
-
It's extremely rare, in my experience, for it to be less than £1000 for a new young driver. Especially without a box. You can't go wrong with adding named drivers
-
3600 miles?! £500?! Say whaaat. Welcome
-
Your different wipers make all the difference. I joke, could do with a lick of polish and your headlight units drying out but good base
-
Rear lights out, screws in the arches undone, could be some underneath? Basically it, whack it out. There's a picture of it off in my build thread that might help
-
Welcome clean lupo. Good luck with your plans
-
Haha welcome you're attempts are close but not close enough! You should be able to copy paste in an image, so from photobucket or flickr etc, copy and paste the image. You'll know it's worked if you can see the image. Good luck!

I think with a coil pack fault you'd get cylinder faults, atleast I did on my 1l
-
Meh, I'm not sure if they're any good. I'd say get some ta shocks off ebay. Or any other budget brand for that matter
-
First thought bring starter motor. How are your plugs and leads?
-
You'll find after 3-4 months of regular use, the back will drop a few mm
-
How do, what brand are the coilies you're getting?
-
Welcome you're best bet with central locking is Rclick, a few on here have used it so they'd be able to assist you further. I'm not sure how difficult wiring looms are to fit for leccy windows, I don't know if it's worth it. Good luck Alex

A remapped 1l? Some would argue that size of engine is too small.. Welcome
-
Welcome Alex, may I just say THE best name. I must ask for pictures of your motors, especially the 300ZX. I do believe you need a minimum post count, it could be 5, I'm not sure. Good luck in your Lupo search! P.S your English is good, I like it. Alex
