James827
pop some holes in the passengers side, so air can get you the top of your rad also a strip of tape over the bit where the indicator panel and bumper touch would make it smootherAlso... is that ONE wiper arm ahahaand one mirror?? chrisnicol
There is a very slim line at the top for air the mirror is folded in as it's parked and people like to hit them in my street lol yep one wiper, I think I will cover that indicator gap too, my mpg is so good now though! CaneyJ
I get over 72mpg AVERAGE in my TDI. Used to get 50ish until I got a scangauge and learned how to drive for economy.80-90% of my driving is on the motorway though, Last week I got 92mpg on a run between Birmingham and London on a clear run.Heres the fuel log as proof. Usually get around 480-500 miles before I get a fuel Light. Car has a 100ish HP Remap and BMW Mini Wheels, no other mods.http://ecomodder.com/forum/em-fuel-log.php?vehicleid=6097
caryleighton
My sport gets around 240 miles to a tank on V-Power But then again, I rarely go on long motorway trips, its just shorter commuting. Haven't seen my sport's economy improve a great deal on motorways anyway, due to the short final drive
chrisnicol
So today I filled my tyres to 51 psi ( max psi) and the car feels so different to the 30 psi I had in! Much less resistance when coasting etc, anyone got any experience with an economy remap?
