nfbr Posted June 27, 2010 Author Report Share Posted June 27, 2010 Not much of an update but I've now found my ongoing boost leak!One of the welds in the aluminium pancake pipe has split causing it to be quite a bit down on power Forge motorsport are going to be getting a warranty replacement one out to me, so that should be all fixed soon! Also - Whilst I had the front end of the car off investigating said boost leak, I put my bumper on a work bench well out of the way... The wind decided it didn't want the bumper to be on the bench, subsequently blowing it onto the floor scuffing it like a c*nt...Oh well... That one was the original plastic pipe that came off the EGR pipe and connected to the Forge FMIC Pipework.That pipework has been completely replaced with Silicone/Alu hard pipe now, so I shouldn't have any leaking issues with that!I have a picture of the split pipe, but I don't have the camera what it's on at home!As for the bumper - Yeah, It kind of needed a bit of filling/painting anyway.At 40mph Flies bounce off the paintworkAt 70mph Flies splatter on the paintworkAt 120mph Flies dent/chip the paintworklol.
