Well i was gonna keep them fresh for e38, but i dont think i'll be able to resist so they might be on for leeds.You really couldnt get your rims any cleaner if you tryed, you know you love your OEM. Mitchell Posted August 8, 2008 Report Share Posted August 8, 2008 aye nice rims. suit the car better than any others imho, , as for arch rolling i've had this discussion with phil how every gti arch i've had a feel of once rolled is just that rolled over ie not tightly folded back like the newer vw's and audi's, i've looked at the rear arches and noticed that the reason for it is the inner rear quarter has around 10 mm gap from the outer skin/ arch thsu making it nigh on impossible to roll /fold flat, the only way i can see it being done would be to slice the inner from the outer then hammer and dolly over then weld and seal.or the other way that i think may work i just thought of and it's cheating.phil you got pm regarding it.
