getting plastic door strips off?

Recommended Posts

Heat them up with a hairdryer or heatgun, and get some dental floss behind them. You'll need to get some bug remover or similar to get of the sticky crap left on the doors.

hot water will also soften the glue too, just boil a kettle though as mentioned peel it back a bit and check that all the paint matches underneath before you take them all off and realise you're left with stripes that don't quite match.

If it's a mk2 Punto then the side strips are just stuck on as well, no pegs.

Factory HGT Abarth?

The factory ones only came in black or yellow, and you can tell them apart from the optional extra-fitted abarth kits because the two side grills in the front bumper are solid, not mesh.
