peepin_eyes
First post in a long long time from me on this forum, and it feels good to be back again. I became a member I think it was in 2001(?) or something when the forum was all new, I think i got the tip from someone on LupoClub.de back then to register, but my old log-in don't seem to work anymore. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />Yes, I will mount a new numberplate. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />I promise I'll fix some better photos later on, the weather this weekend was useless... <IMG SRC="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif"> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Edited October 20, 2007 by peepin_eyes

Hopefully I'll find someone who's willing to trade or sell perhaps a Sparco evo or something for me and an evo L for the passenger side , that might do the trick. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Other modifications, well they're not so many yet, and hopefully it stays that way... style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> H&R Coilovers, the above mentioned seats, KN 57i kit, fully stainless handbuilt exhaust from the manifold and back in 2,5" with 'racecat'. There were some things that I got with the car which might come to use before the tracks open next spring, Powerflex bushings for front and rear and a H&R antirollbar, that's it I think. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />Very nice mate. look forward to see more pics. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />Photography is another hobby I have, so there might be good chances for more pics later on. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
peepin_eyes
looking nice mate, what exhaust system you running??The rumour says it's a Uppsala avgasteknik built system. It's a bit loud, but that's the way it should be, sound really nice. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

peepin_eyes
Sweet lookin car with different wheels every week. lolWhy have a coke can for a washer reservoir? The best thing for me might be to have different wheels on the left and right side och the car so I don't need to change them so often. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> The coke can is there to keep the weight down, why use something bigger? Don't know why he didn't use a coke light can though... style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> That car is light, right now he says it weighs 775kg's, the engine i still stock 75hp. But he drives it like he stole it and that sure is a car I hope that I'll keep him behind the gti on the tracks next season. My old Clio 172 and I had serious troubles keeping him behind... peepin_eyes
Awesome! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> What are the plans for the gti then? Thanks! The plans for the gti is to wait for the spring to the tracks open and try to keep it on the track and go as fast as possible. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> No but I like it is right now, the handling seems to be very nice, better then I tought it should be. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> So I don't have any certain plans for the car this winter, but I will try getting the poly-bushings mounted and the front H&R swaybar. I hate to buy cars so close to the winter because it's a long wait for spring. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

The track is called Kinnekulle Ring and this is the fastest bend of the track 'under the bridge'. A 170'ish km/h corner with the Clio, but the Lupo had the disadvantage of a long straight before the left turn under the bridge. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> A very nice track, perfect for small cars as the Lupo.Movie of the track: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=46...mp;q=kinnekulleYes I know it's a bike vid and Ãt seems to go much slower on a bike, laptimes of 1.20 the 1,4 Lupo did it in a little under 1.10... So you think I should submit the gti-snowpic to the 08-calender. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> But who is in charge of the calender duty and to who should I send the pic in that case? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" /> I was thinking of washing the car and give it another shot with the little better camera I have, I took this one with a canon ixus55, a really cheap pocket camera. I have a little bigger one too, a canon 300d systemcamera (almost a veteran by now). I'll give it a try this weekend, they say the snow will be here over the coming weekend to at least.Thats a sweet looking gti you own btw, that color looks really good. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

There will be a submission thread up sometime in March in the 'Off Topic & General' forum, once thats up you can post the image in that thread. Then later there will be a public vote. Just make sure you have a nice hi res original ready incase your image is chosen, you do have a hi res of that shot don't you?And thank you. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
