I was wondering where the lupo and arosa was manufactured?

And am i right in thinking that they were made in the same factory?

I know the Fox is made in Brazil but could not think of the arosa and lupo was manufactured.

Thank Lunalupi for this bit of info.....

While decoding my VIN number, in search of a paint code (no luck by the way) I found something odd..... It seems my Arosa was made in Wolfsburg - I thought that was the home of VW, not SEAT!

Anyhow, was just wondering if anyone else has a Wolfsburg Arosa?

11th digit of your VIN code is the factory, decode using the list below:

A Ingolstadt, Germany

B Brussels, Belgium

D Bratislave, Slovakia

E Emden, Germany

G Gratz, Germany

H Hannover, Germany

K Osnabrueck, Germany

M Mexico

N Neckarsulm, Germany; Mlada Boleslav

P Mosel

R Martorell, Spain

S Stuttgart, Germany

T Kvasiny

V Palmela, Portugal

W Wolfsburg, Germany

X Posnan

Y Pamplona, Spain

Thats interesting, i wouldnt have thought they were made in as many places as that.

Mine is 'R' so thats Martorell, Spain.

Were Lupos made at the same places then?

Thanks for the info btw

Martorell, Barcelona, Spain

Some of the lecturers in Business Systems took a field trip to Barcelona last year and visited Martorell. They said all they could see was VW boxes!

I find it amuzing that the fillers are ZZZ as in ZZZzzzzzzz... for my meagre 1.0MPi

I think all lupos and mk1 arosa's were built in wolfsburg.

mk2 in in spain.

may be wrong though, but this is based on the ones I have seen or heard of.

Ah right i didnt know that, i just thought Arosas and Lupos were built together in the same place

My Lupo SE was made in Belgium.

There seems to be a lot of different places where they were made confused.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" /> .

After this interesting piece of information I've found out my 02-plate Arosa 1.0S MPi is a Martorell model
