  1. Hi, I have a couple of problems with GTI central locking and the alarm: Fob doesn't work 99% of the time, so have to unlock the car with the key. Unlocking doesn't disarm the alarm. Have to start it before I get in otherwise it triggers. Are the problems linked and what do I need to do to fix it? Cheers in advance.
  2. I have a flash red GTI. There's another red one on the main road in Bierton.
  3. I'm from Aylesbury too! What colour is your Lupo?
  4. If your friend saw it being loaded onto a truck why didn't he stop? If I saw a mate's car being loaded up I'd stop and see what's going on!
  5. If it was a low loader there's a chance it's company owned and local. Maybe worth checking with those local to you...
  6. No! Foe £500 he'll be paying far more than that in the next few year's premium hikes cos of the claim.
  7. Giving the motor a whack also helps. My passenger window keeps sticking and giving the winder motor a good whack sorts it.
  8. As much as I would like an iphone, the HTC Desire looks great and no being dictated to by Apple as to what I do with something I own.
  9. Reports of a prototype new iPhone lost in a bar are all over the 'net. I doubt iAd's will be able to be switched off. Everyone would be doing it if you could, so app devs and advertisers would miss out big time. At the very least there'll be a "skip" option like you get in many flash games, but again I doubt it.
  10. It's gotta come down at some point, so why not create a spoof and put it on the internet for more publicity.
  11. New Macbook Pros are now out. Christ they're expensive! And why has the 13" still got C2D, why no i3 at least?
  12. My advice is to consistency and keep it simple at first. Lay out a meal plan and stick to it each day. That way it's simple and consistent. Eating to put on muscle is very different to what most people have been brought with so making sweeping changes in one go is pretty tough. You need to make it a habit, where it becomes second nature.
  13. A pinch and a punch for the first day of the month. I know he's been on recently as his avatar pic has changed.
  14. I managed to replace mine easily enough. Check for broken wires too, mine were in a bad state.
  15. Ha, Ben's now changed his "last active" to private so I can't see if he should see this thread and his PM's. Probably added me to the ignore list as well. He basically promised me £30 as an apology for ripping me of by not giving me the games with the xbox 360 I bought from him. Yet to see it and he promised me that back in December. Considering I bought the xbox back in March last year I've been more than patient.
  16. I went to London's IMAX, was only £2 more than my local Odeon for 3D films. First time I've been to an IMAX and it was awesome. At the IMAX they didn't have the BBFC screen, just went straight into the film after one trailer and didn't realise it had started, so with the opening shot of the space ship turning and you get that sense of motion I thought this looks good, will have to see this! Two of the girls with us didn't realise it had started until about 20 minutes in
  17. Read and reply to the PM sent 3 weeks ago! Nearly a year since this all started!
  18. Amazing 3D and special effects, but a pretty poor story and the characterisations were weak. It's more of a theme-park ride than a film, so won't bother getting it on DVD when released and certainly not getting a 3D TV anytime soon. T2 was on ITV2 last night, wow I'd love to see THAT in 3D!
  19. Ahhhh, you are alive! Check your PM's.
  20. That McLaren looks awesome! Can't wait!
