Mike_M
Has anyone installed a boot light for the Lupo as it can get quite dark in there style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" /> Thinking of attempting this and just wondering if anyone has done it already to give tips! tshirt2k
Was thinking about doin this. hardest thing would be to find out how the boot open indicator can be tapped into. Haven't looked into it yet.

tshirt2k
It would be easier to tap into the existing circuit from the switch on the the door lockI'l try to find the diagram againhere under central locking link page 39/4 F124 is the switch that you can tap into to work the light if its fused at the supply end. LoopyLing
Hey fella that looks cool. Our's so desperately needs a light in the boot for these long dark Welsh Winters! Keep us informed!
Mike_M
The problem is getting the wire from the tailgate lock to the light as its quite a long route. Was just going to use the battery in the floor to power the light and put an in-line fuse.................short route and simple circuit
tshirt2k
you domt have to go to the boot lock. there is a connection in the c pillar somewhere according to the diagram.

I have not had a chance to take pics but will do so soon.I had to re-position the light unit on the final production as did not realise that it was going to hit the rear seat belt housing..........but all is fine and perfect on the final item. Thank god I practiced on the a spare panel. All I can say is......................I HAVE A BOOT LIGHT!!!!!
