Lupo GTi Koni suspension kit

Recommended Posts

Been looking at different suspension kits for the lupo, not wanting to spend £500 on suspension and not really fussed about coilovers. Looking at the koni kit for a reasonable price but it doesn't list it for the gti. I know the rear shocks are the same for all models but why is the front different for the gti. Will it fit? Thanks

it's because the GTI has a slightly wider track up front, so the front struts need to be slightly different to accommodate this

Whats the difference with the GTI struts? I assumed it was just spring ratings. Pretty sure I have GTI Bilsteins on my TDI but could be wrong as I bought them a couple of years ago lightly used.

It was you commenting in another thread that made me research them. You happy with yours?

I am indeed.

I bought mine when the euro was down from Holland.

I'd have to think how much now.

Thanks all, I'll look into them. They arent too low are they?

Normally start from a bit low to very low and everything in between being adjustable

On a different note, went out to the garage and noticed the appropriately placed empty brewdog box
