Keiranleigh
Hello, wondering if anyone can help! I’ve fitted upgraded front speakers and head unit. Now my head unit is playing up and just discovered the rear holes for the rear speakers (tweeter as well). I was thinking about getting the 4 coaxial plus the 4 tweeters and new head unit but after looking I can’t find much about the rears... what size is the front and rear speakers (plus tweeters) and is there any recommendations along with a new head unit. thanks keiran

Silver!
You’ll also either need GTI cards with mesh,or modify yours.
musho007
So no speakers in the rear of the gti?
lupogtiboy
GTI's are the only Lupo's that came with rear speakers in the UK. They have different rear door cards with a mesh panel on them
Silver!
Which were very expensive IIRC
mk2
£45 just for some metalwork. And works with very specific speakers, so you have to use all the right bits. No 12" base bins then. I bet that the first things to go on a scrappy Gti are the rear cards
LR5V
They are a standard sized aftermarket component speaker size, but agreed grilles could be an issue
