Passengers/ drivers door switches have completely different looking connectors. At least thats the case in my 2001 Gti.

I have found this also; Skezza how do these fit the passenger side? Can you post up and pictures?

Hi Skezza,

Do you still have switches available? and are you perhaps willing to ship to South Africa?

Hi Skezza, can you tell me how to remove the 2 window switches from the window/lock housing on the drivers side? Didn't want to force and snap the plastic surround. I'll be after 3 of your switches then, if you still have them. Thanks in advance.

An old thread, but are these still available?

Yes, pop me a PM. I'm currently waiting for some more but shouldn't be long. End of the week probably.

Both the switches on the driver's side are the same, and the passenger side has different connections.

They are fixable. Once you've carefully removed the back, you see how thing goes together. There are little metal discs with 3 legs keeping them in place. Usually the circuit board has some corrosion. Clean it, relube with silicone grease. Clean the disc contact points too. Then reassemble. Nothing to break since they're already not working :)
