If you have a clifford it has a seperate immobiliser so if you find a way of hotwiring it you should be able to turn the immobiliser off using the fob.

I'll fit my mates tonight to see if they clear my brakes on the Nova. Whats the offset on them, -7et?

They are 7's not 8's. 175/50 would stretch on an 8. In the Mini world 13x7 Super/minilites are about £200 a set second hand. Would double check the PCD as well as if they're off a mini it will be 101.9 or something and will require wobble bolts.

I'd start with cleaning out your throttle body.

You can't really 'lower' them as such. My mates probably got one of the lowest ones, 10" Wellers with the arches on the tyres (1293 turbo not good on 10's i might add). Hi-los and uprated shocks is the easiest way, coilovers if you have some money.

If its flashing it means its going into protection mode no? Unless theres a seperate LED for protection mode. Check your remote.

A good clean earth and check your amp settings. Could also be a dodgy set of RCA's

Well it won't cause you're using the revs to slow the car down so its nowhere near idle. My Nova does this. Changing the idle control valve tomorrow and if thats still a problem i'll be checking the vechical speed sensor on the gearbox.

Run 5mm spacers. They should go over the brakes easy though.

All the 13's you've run have sat horrible. I'd go for some 14's if you want them small, better still 15's. Good work on the bumpers though.
