BEST ENGINE FOR MY LUPO???
Rich replied to crookie01's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
I know what I wrote. I think it's the most sensible suggestion on this thread. -
cheeky punt but I'll do you £20 collected.
-
If you're not just going to pay someone minimal amounts to do this, you may as well just hit it with a hammer.

BEST ENGINE FOR MY LUPO???
Rich replied to crookie01's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
The best engine for your Lupo. The AHW. -
What do you mean not very often ?
-
£10 and a toffee crisp ?
-
Don't like it. A. It's a gay lupo sausagefest. B. I have a Polo and instantly feel excluded.
-
It's where you keep your fags.
-
I'll do you £75 & I'll collect them. Can't imagine VR's have that much grip in this weather.
-
Seriously, mk4 Polo electrics, hybrid a GTI pedalbox with an early to give a hydro clutch and a cable throttle. John's got a Syncro rear shaft so that problems sorted. Kam said you wanted him to do it.

I don't have a clue what you're on about. . . .

HT leads are twenty quid. I'd do those and the plugs before the coilpack though. They'll have to be done regardless so I'd try first. Annoyingly, plugs for an AUC come in at eight quid each. (silly)
-
It's a five minute job to change it. Three bolts, one plug and four HT leads which should be getting changed at the same time, if not before. The AUC engine doesn't like non genuine coilpacks. Keep this in mind if they try to pass of a cheap one.

I like the Tuesay Jewish cheapskate sub of the day.

I'd go on the Scottish vag stand too. Hey.

Damn Makems. That's not a proper northerner. Silver is a proper northerner.
-
I wouldn't go for a look. For £900 you could pick up a Lupo which is a far superior car to an Arosa. (yup, I said that) I'd have a look about and see what's kicking it locally, there's always plenty bargains to be had. Oh, hey, welcome to the club, you're still a 'ricer' though.
-
That's not wax, it's PTFE spray which is a form of grease. It's an easy way of doing it.
-
You know we could always bang a different engine in the shell and give it some quality death? ABF Lupo ?

relay pannel problem
Rich replied to north wales loop's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
Relays are easy to change. You unscrew the fusebox, yank it down from underneath and pay a ten year old child to reach through and change it. They generally work for cigarettes. OP homo, your problem is liable to be the pins on the back, remove the whole undertray so you can get access properly, pop the relays out and check the pins haven't started slightly coming out the back on the relay plugs. -
Black suittty stuff coming out the exhaust
Rich replied to youngtom04's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
probably valve stem seals. -
I'm not being funny but why don't we just go all out and have a big peado bear and some wonky stickered **** about as Scotty suggested. You're all twelve, your opinions don't count. Some like the sophisticated 'vintage' look.

Struggling to get in gears..
Rich replied to JamesTdi's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
Oh, it's an 085 box. I bet the stupid bush on one of the selector cables has gone. £49 per cable from VW new or there's a selector on ebay for £20. Noticed earlier whilst looking for ****. Easy to change but an arse at the same time.
