Could just need to swap the yellow and red wires on the harness between the radio and original vw connections over, some have bullet connectors for this, some (like a friends car that i had to add connectors in to) dont

If you have the key from the 100bhp car, split it open and take the transponder chip from inside and put it in your key, mine did this when i fitted central locking with new keys, put the chip in and all was well

Just put skinnier wheels on, before it was catching the bodywork before it got to full drop (it still does now, need lower profile tyres) but ive gotta give credit to the guys running 13's all the time, my exhaust catches on everything and ive even got stuck on a tiny bump (before remembering i can lift the car up!)

just a question, what sizes are the bullet steels? I'm contemplating a set for mine and yours look like they fit great!

Check your interior lights come on, sometimes the microswitches in the door locks go and the car doesnt know when the doors are open, mine dont beep or the light doesnt come on

I had JOM's on mine before they got cut up to fit the hydraulics and i'd say they were very good for the money, ride quality was as good as the FK Highsports that were on before (only took off because i blew a shock and broke a spring! Never had a chance to see how they corroded but they were very easy to fit!

Depends on how low you are, arches rolled etc, i have 15x7 et 20 on mine and neede arches rolled and tyre stretch, but i was fairly low!

Mines black and silver at the moment, shall be going different next year though!

Hello and welcome! it was expensive, but worth the look on peoples faces when you dump it, ive been asked if I 'know my car's just fell on the floor' I can sort that tomorrow evening for you! Its filthy at the moment, and the back isn't really low enough, due to pokey wheels but ohwell!

Momo is fitted, didnt realise something so simple could change how the car feels so much! Pictures tomorrow when its light!

So not much has happened really! Still need to get a video of it, but i've just ordered my new steering wheel! Wanted a momo team 280 since i bought the car but never had the money spare so i thought why not! Shall be here in the week and fitted next weekend!

I though coils were uncomfy until i had the hydro's fitted, at some heights its lovely, soft as standard suspension, but at other heights its mega hard, like having nothing atall!

The ones i have are like a little box, with an input that comes from the head unit, and 2 outputs, one for the tweeter and one for the woofer. They stop all the low frequencies going to the tweeters, if you look at the standard ones, they have a resistor and capacitor on them which make up a basic signal filter.

Can i use the standard intercooler? Or buy an uprated one to fit a standard car and use that? Also will i need much more from my list?

also does the battery 100% have to be moved to the boot? I dont have a lot of space in the boot as it is, just while I think about it!
