I have almost finished my 1.8t conversion on my Lupo Gti but I am having a problem as the standard brake master cylinder is hitting the back of the engine. What's master cylinder do people use? Any help would be great

Last weekend started to strip the interior out of it. Did come apart nice and easy. Rear seats got a little tricky though. And this weekend the engine and gear box where pulled out. Misses wanted to un bolt something lol. Also went and view an A3 today which I have a deposit on and will be picking up tomorrow night. Will get some photos up of it.

Hi People. So I brought a Lupo GTI around a year ago as a run around while I was building my Mazda RX8 which I don't use as daily any ways. Haven't had much luck with it over the last year head gasket Christmas, cambelt few months later and then crashed it about a month ago. I fixed the sump and was back on the road but rear engine mouth had broken and just isn't running right. 165k on the clock it was time for the conversion I have always wanted to do. Plan is 1.8t conversion full respray in new colour bucket seats roll cage harnesses So far but I know with my rx8 the list just kept getting bigger and bigger as I went on with new ideas etc. Few picture of the car cleaned up about 2 months ago.

I'm looking to shorten my number plate on the back. I know you need to bumpers, was looking at using a normal bumper to fill the gaps in on the side as they didn't different in those areas! Would I be right in saying that or would I need a second Gti bumper?

Pretty new to the forum. I've not long finished building my RX8 which is getting shot for its feature in July! Looks like my daily (lupo gti) is going to be the next project. Really itching for speed. Really am tempted with the 1.8t conversion! Been reading a lot of threads! A very lot of the useless with how much does it cost etc. Wanna know any information about any fabrication, what engine/ gear box people recommend and anything else useful to know. I know that engine mounts have to be fab on engine and gear box. Plus custom drive shafts. Do you custom the engine mount for the engine your putting in? If I brough coilovers new brakes would they need changing to suit the engine? Any information would be much appreciated Thanks
