How do they sound mate? Atm I'm running on a single type G comp up front and standard Gti speakers in the back so I'm hoping to upgrade it a bit. Would you be interested in selling them separate? I take it they're the standard 6.5" coaxials for the front?

Pull it straight out the way and not at an angle. If you do that you shouldn't break any clips. Yeah it'll give you access.

Check to see if the connections are loose behind the door card.

It's probably that the service light hasn't been reset. Have a look in the how to section for how to reset the service light and it will come up.

Only stretch if you need it for clearance issues. Yeah j means inches.

Nah you're stretching it the wrong way mate, stretching a tyre is when you put a 16" tyre on a 15" rims :3 loljk Yeah you put a tyre that's thinner than the wheel it was originally intended for i.e a tyre designed for a 6j wheel onto a 7j rim.

Don't think a panel filter will do much for noise tbh. A BMC is what you're after if want a decent sound.

I don't know what the centre bore is on BMW's so you might want to call the guy and ask. You're looking for 57.1. If the CB is larger you can look at getting spigot rings.
