  1. i've started my 1.8t build, but i have hit a wall, i went down to my local vw dealership to get the weld in engine mount the boy there couldnt find what i was looking for so he gave my a copy of the parts for diagram and the part that i need is on the diagram but there is no number next to it so he said he couldnt order it grrrrrr!!! now i know people have used them so i was wondering does anyone have a part number. I have Andy's mobile number, i can pm you with it You will be looking at around £400-£450 for your loom to modified

  4. getting into gears has always been that little bit stiff, but when i go to work and it has been rainning there is always a big puddle everytime i come out the other end the gears are so easy to change from just wondering if anyone knows why this is? is there a seal gone somewhere and it isnt holding any lube, i dont knoow what its is any help would be much appreciated thanks david
  5. will an ashley manifold and a 200 cell sports cat pass an mot on a standard 1.4 sport engine also it has a cat back system on it anyone running there sport with this set up? thanks
  6. i just ment its the first gritter i have seen out for about 4 weeks so it must be getting colder i didnt say that gritters were just for snow, they are also used to melt the ice and keep it from refreezing and they can also spray liquid de-icer which will prvent roads from freezing down as far as -18 degrees celsius

  9. ok in 2010 we had snow late november, so december came andi thought lets raise the lupo and get it ready for the snow and salt its now the the 15th january and still nothing, i use my car as a daily but damm i miss it being low but tonight the gritters are out and it was -8 this morning but that dont mean much i suppose we had cold nights near christmas but still no snow lets see your snow pictures if you have any i would put one up but i dont have haha

  11. i thought that mite be the case cause i followed the wiring down to the drivers door then kinda stopped thought there would of been a join in it somewhere but hey yhea well i've got a polo gti from the scrappys coming in some time this week so should be able to take the connector off that and as you have said make the join inside the car, sounds like a plan thanks for your help bud rich member of the year for 2012
  12. cool man wasnt too sure if it would do but i get the solder iron out tonight and have a go its just so i can get it through its m.o.t then i'll get it fixed proper job
  13. my rear abs cable at the wheel arch has been cut through not sure how but it has now i have had a look inside the boot and found the cable and there is a part number on it what am not sure is if there is a join in these cables or does run straight through the car to the wiring loom , just so i know if its going to be a big job if it is then it will have to go to the garage any help would be much apreciated thanks
