how do these drive then? i am guessing they are basically an R32?

I suppose, only driven a mk4 R32.

Would say the quality is better than a Golf.

Fancied the Audi as it a bit more stealth than the R32 but same power.

A few more tweaks to come ;)

I do like this alot, Just done an insurance quote on it as i know your change cars alot! £4,400 :(

Such a nice oem car, What bhp are these? 250 like the TT's? or have they pushed them up a bit?

Rich.

Insurance isnt an issue when you get to my age

250 standard, I have had it remapped, no idea what its running now, will get it on the rolling road once I have the milltek fitted

  • 2 months later...

Had a week off work so have been rather busy on the Audi.

Picked up a leather interior for it for a bit of a steal, probably cause its red

The new front seats are heated so needed to upgrade the climate control as the heated seat controls are incorporated in the unit, so took the opportunity to install the facelift unit.

Felt the interior is a bit bland so as well as the climate unit, added a bit of bling in the form of light switch and pedals.

Also added an ipod kit an hid the ipod in the coin tray.

Finally had to replace the steering wheel, love the flat bottom wheels.

Got S3 vents and new gear knob coming, that should do for the interior.
