Here's a few quick pics of my lupo gti that I bought today.

It's got pretty good miles at 77k and the wheels were refurbed in anthracite by the previous owner about 6 months ago. It's sitting on eibach coils and has CDA induction and a powerflow exhaust. The splitter is from a cupra R and there's a momo wheel inside, looks like a 28, got a decent Sony head unit but the speakers need upgrading so any suggestions would be welcome on that front :)

I've got a private plate to transfer on to it and it could be doing with a stubby mirror for the drivers side. The window regulator is gone so that's first on the list to get done but it's pretty much a blank canvas!

Looks like you got a good un. I didn't know Eibach did coilovers for the Lupo, they can't have been cheap. How does it ride?

Any chance you could take a video of it? I wanna know what the powerflow is like on a GTi? I want one, my mate has one on his Sport so I wanna see if the sound differs?

Indeed, nice colour scheme ;)

Yeah I will try get a video of it soon for you mate :) it sounds pretty nice to be honest, not really loud but you deffo know something is going out there.

I hope so, needs a good blast as there's a bit of gunge under the oil cap which might indicate lots of short journeys, no nasty symptoms so hopefully that's all it is! Could do with some areas resprayed but that's just me being really fussy with it.

I'm not really up on what makes do what for the lupo but the ride is really good, it's not bumpy or stiff or anything and it still handles really well so they won't be getting changed.

One thing I really would like to get done though is a G60 brake upgrade :swerve:

I've got a Sony head unit so not sure it that makes a difference to what would work well? I may invest in a sub and amp in a few months time but it's not a priority.

Small update though:

I've sourced a window regulator through here so that should be arriving soon.

Got a set of tyres for the rears as they were an advisory on the mot so they will be going on shortly.

I've just bought a stubby mirror from German eBay...might just get the bases painted gloss black whilst I'm at it!

Car will be getting a good detail inside and out on Monday as I have a day off so going to double team it with a mate.

There's also a small chip on the windscreen so auto glass have been arranged to come out and sort that whilst I'm off too.

Just small things but it all makes a difference :)

Upon having a look through your non locked photobucket I have now realised who you are.

A. I'd tap that (just thought I'd get that out there)

B. Nice previous Lupo, figured I recognised the OY02 part of the reg as the one Thissy was selling.

My car is rapey.

People keep looking at it in disgust.

Three people told me today the grill was hanging off, surely enough it was only the wires for the spots holding it in place. (I used zip ties to fix it)

Hello! A few people have said that but I didn't actually buy it from him lol Mike has bought the previous lupo from me (which was previously Mitchs and requires some work) and I got this from a guy in aberdeen. Mikes brother Paul bought my friend Colin's raven blue lupo with red interior a while back too so a few ties going on there!

It actually gets worse cos I live next door to Colin's dad and I bought the silver loop from a guy who lives 5 mins from Colin.....it's a small world obviously

It's great to be back in a gti, got a lot of learning to do about the lupo though :)

You're Scottish, it is my understanding that family trees are simply a load of names drawn on some paper and then a few rounds with a spirograph?
