Also, a friend has offered to give me some free 20mm hubcentric spacers he had for his mk2 VW Golf (4x100) that he no longer needs.....

One thing though, how will that effect the centre bore of the hub as VW is 57.1 and MINI is 56.1.

I could get 57.1 spigots for the alloys to sit on the hubcentric element of the spacer, however, is it going to cause me a major headache (or be dangerous for that matter?!) when it comes to the spacer sitting on the MINI's hub??

You could get the 1mm difference machines off the wheels? Then spigots for the other side? Perfect!

Only you'd then have to run spigots for the life f those wheels

I'm thinking about a set of these in a staggered set up to run as my winter wheels as the SDM's will get wrecked in the winter months, which will soon be here!

WORK Emotion XD9's

17 x 7.5 front (ET32)

17 x 8.5 rears (ET32)

I just need to know where I can buy the rears from? I cant seem to find a UK dealer, so do I have to order from the US??

I can pick up the fronts for a bargain £60, but they need a re-furb. No big deal though.

OK, the fronts have been paid for now (£60 posted) I cant believe what a deal that is!

I'm going to get a full set of the flat caps like these though when the rears come over from the US:

Any thoughts on tyre options for the fronts and rears? (I want some stretch!)

OK, they are here...

So, the price quoted from the USA turned out to be an 'error' and they are actually $450 per wheel (Holy ****!) plus delivery, so looking at around the $1200 mark

After some digging around though, I can get the two rears from Japan via Vhyper@Battle for £799 delivered. Now I need to choose if I go for either:

17x8.5 ET 32

OR

17X8.5 ET 25

What do people think regarding the offsets?

Mega bargain for £60 delivered, dead happy with them :)

Refurb will be required though for sure, so not too sure about what to do, as colour matching to the brand new rears is gonna be a major PITA! :(

The huge 10J rear WORK wheels wont fit, so it was back to the drawing board.

No to worry though, I have found some 3pc split rims, that I have put a deposit down on.

Picture them with the dishes polished up, powdercoated centres in metallic bronze or grey (not decided yet) and with gold bolts.
