Great car. and some nice work.

He was at DC and think half the people who turned up wanted to torch it by midday, far too loud and chavvy boot build and LOVED showing off his bass beats volume 17. :o

for what it is - it does it well. mental sound system, saw it at dubmania.

The panels on the front didnt look right, didnt line up very well, not sure if its had a bump of something. Overall a cool car though, love the wheels

Agree AWESOME LOOP, Borbet B's, huge audio build & kw's.

Agree the chassie notch is horrid, considering it's done by one of the E38 "godly workshops" HAHA

Some people need to realised good audio work isnt CHAVY, maybe painting ur wheel bright purple to be "cool" could be considerdd chavy by 95% of people

Little Rich WEEEEE NEED UR YELLOW LOOP BACK!!! to show all these how a Bass Wagon should roll/

Old wheels, old car, long time ago!

And come on, he's sat making noise, not music, noise! whilst making the panels flex to be 'cool'

It might sound good at certain volumes but it looks a fkin mess!

Also, he's added about a 1/4t of weight to it, its a lightweight gti FFS!

Let the bass wagon kick it!

People have different views on this sort of stuff, it needs to be appreciated when done well, people that say its chavy / pointless are silly billys,

imo its slightly 'pointless' spending a fortune on a big engine conversion for such a small cheap car, but i appreciate it when done well,

We all have different tastes :)

I like bubblegum

I met the owner at a car audio event on saturday, very pleasant guy. This Lupo was built to demonstrate what can be achieved in a Lupo in terms of an SPL build by Blaceice (www.bladeice.com), who also has possibly the loudest vehicle in the UK.

The car is used as a daily and its very low! The Borbet wheels are BMW fitment and suit the car really well, so well done getting them on a Lupo and they are 16's. I have never seen a Lupo on 16's, on coilovers this low. The exhaust is different and looks really good, makes a change from the ovals or twin-pipes every other GTI has. Smoothing of front bumper and gloss black mirrors and other trims works well too. Must give credit to the interior too, the retrimming of the MK4 Recaros and door builds is totally outstanding.

Everyone has the own opinion. I think this is one of the best GTI's out there, mainly because of the wheels, the lowness and the sound system. Im in the process of doing some upgrades to my GTI and its so difficult to find wheels, exhausts etc not seen on a Lupo before. I think some of you guys have been unfair with your comments about this. He doesn't have the music on whilst driving, if he does then its just the front end which i have to say sounds very nice, picks out all the notes from the music so its very good on the SQ side of things too. You must appreciate the effort gone into this, its easy to criticize someone else's car but i dont agree with it being "chavy" or "another Lupo wrecked".

It's nice to know members on this forum are honest but some of you are missing the point of this GTI. Its an SPL vehicle and if your not clued up on car audio then dont criticize it.
