  1. The polo handle has a which inside which then activates a popper inside the polo latch
  2. I'm just gathering all the bits to add a polo 6R boot handle into the bootlid of my lupo. The biggest issue I'm having at the moment is figuring out how to get the polos handle (microswitch) to work with my non central locking lupo. Has anyone got any ideas? Thanks
  3. Another 2 1/2 years have rolled bye without an update. Major updates Fitted a set of Porsche 997 front seats in Agate grey were fitted, and then had the rear seast, door cards, Recaro rear headrest and lupo gti steering wheel wrapped in matching Porsche leather. We finally got the Ipad mini finished off; audio is running via wifi to an Audison Bit Ten D processor. Then last summer I finally opted for air suspension, in the end we went for airlift front struts and Hp Drivetech rear bags and dampers, running of 3/8 Airlift V2 Hopefully get to a few more European shows this year, I’ll try keep you updated.

  8. As above. please PM
  9. But you have more surface area of disk per rotaion of the wheel for the pad to clam onto. On your basis everyone might aswell have 200mm disks and just really big brake pads.

  11. Well having a bigger discs gives your pad a larger circumference to clamp on to, in theory giving you the same advantage as having a bigger pad.
  12. Its because of the large disk 280 v 256. This allows more heat to be dissipated due to being a large surface area, plus their's more surface area for the pad to be in contact with the disc over one turn of the wheel. Theirs not many options for the rear, have a look at the ibiza cupra r rear brakes, or go 5 stud, this brings lots of possibilities
  13. If you guys do want a club stand you need to book it quick, as we are running out quicker than ever before.
  14. It should be like a ticking/scraping noise, mine still does it every now and then. Well when it get more than that it probs needs doing, I think the clutch and bearing was around £300 fitted.
  15. It's you clutch release bearing, It's nothing major to worry about. If it starts getting really bad you would need to change it, I changed mine when I changed the clutch.
  16. As I’ve not really updated this much over the last year I thought I’d do a ‘Look Back’ over the last couple of month’s progress and happenings. As the paint has been done 6months now I thought it was time I got a DA and start cutting it down. Getting ready for some cleaning Slowly getting there! After it was all finished and sealed it started to rain Time for some BEADING! I finally found the problem why the rear was a tiny bit lopsided, £8 later for both sides and all is well. Just before we set of for Edition38 to man the UltimateDubsUK TradeStand Photo found from Edition38 Hmmm the injury received from the Edition38 show field, still can’t get my head around how this Gti brakes finally fitted to the fronts, rear disks are getting ready to be fitted. Don’t worry about the state of the dishes as these BBS get worked hard :Pbut they do get refurbed every winter  so I’m not that mean My new interior is currently under fitment; hopefully I will be able to get it sorted in the next week or so. Then get the rears retrimmed to match I will get some pics up when their nicely fitted and rears trimmed to match  Plenty of things planned for the winter, so times going to be tight especially with trying to get UltimateDubsUK sorted out too.
  17. Couldnt you just trim down the metal forks to make them sit lower??
  18. to remover the seat from the car you just need to unbolt to 2 bolts under the front, then remove the plastic trim to the rear of the runner. Then the seats should slide backward to remove it
  19. Thanks guys, I have currently just fitted them to a set of lupo bases, but their sat that little bit too high. Just ordering some steel to do the mounts as above, and hopefully it will be ok then. I may have to add to risers to get a nice height but I will get there. Tehn just to trim the rears to match
  20. Ermmm the orginal gti front seats are a different shape to the orginal lupo seats, that means the gti seat fabril will not fit on orginal seats
  21. Hello, I'm trying to get a set of seats with similar bases to a mk5 to fit in the lupo, I know philloop have done some before, does anyone have any pics or dims off their bases? Currently modded a set of orginal bases to get mine to fit, but they just sit abit too high. Any help would be great. Thanks Nick
  22. Hmmm think I need to update this soon haha. Well big updates coming, not sure if I should keep them SUSH! till UltimateDubs2014 tho! But I'll get some updates that have happened over the last year 1st one Now hit 195k miles
