JamesTdi
Lovely little Arosa So do you still have the Rx7?Oh if you ever decide to remove your mud flaps, i'll be happy to take them off your hands
karting
Yes I still have the rx7, going away for a 3grand engine rebuild start of august =( (rotarys are good fun but when they go wrong its expensive! As there a so few specialists) but on the plus side when I get it back should be around 500 at the wheels on high boost and 420 on low boost. Shame I can't shoehorn it in the arosa, haha.Gonna keep the mud flaps and I will be aiming to have them near enough scrapping by the end of the project =)
karting
tried my polo dished alloys today and they didnt fit bad times, so if you wanna buy some...So i decided to spray the steelies matt black and then sprayed the wheel covers matt black, whilst i look for some dished euro wheels if there are any suggestions? Also some nice reflection on that picture after a good clean, resin and waxxing, but shows how high the std suspension is! (apart from AFCJohn as he knows)As i bought them:After i good clean and a rub down:And then finished with a very nice metallic Grey:Not bad for £13.70p for all five off ebay. Just 3 more too do now

karting
Right, so i got the coilovers fitted last week, and lowered the front a fair bit with some more to go. Put in the rears ad realised they wernt adjustable! (doh!), so that has only dropped 40mm but its no where near enough. From:To:So i was wondering, if i just buy 100mm drop rear spring and change the springs over that should be fine? Also im really feeling my winter wheels now the front has been dropped
BenLAST
I'd get new dampers with the springs.
chris c
looks like a really good start try to get some low profile tyres that should make it look a bit lower and make the wheels look a bit bigger

karting
Thanks for all the replys. Few things: Why new do I need to get new dampers aswell as new springs? There the newish dampers whuch I got with the coilovers so they should be ok?Also the arosa like are back on because last week all my brake lights stopped working so I put them back on whilst I fixed the light, the lupo one will be back on soon =)
karting
Few minor things.1st: Smocked side repeaters of ebay (i can give details of seller as they are the ****, makes for other cars too)2nd: tinted my rear lights, just as a temp thing till i get round to actually sorting out the wiring between lupo and arosa rear lights3rd: My comic books arrived, which will be a massive feature on this project, however some of these are old so if there are any collectors out there before i cut them up.... karting
Right, so i went through all my comics and price checked some of them on the net and i discovered that 3 out the 20 i bought are worth £30+ each and the others all vary from £3 to £8 so 20 for £12 wasnt bad! So ive bought a whole load more of the series 1 comics for cheap to start a collection. Now the next problem i had was that i had no comics to rip up and use so i bought some series 2 comics which arnt as valuable to rip up.So first thing i started to comic book wrap was my engine cover, as this is easily replaced if gone wrong.Tomorrow depending on how this sets im gonna start on the door cards
