Do you forsee any issues with MOT as the indicator is no longer orange? Does look good. -

Well done AGAIN Ryan! Car looking sweet as usual. Great to catch up and pick your brains yesterday! Cheers, Dan

Well... its back out for show season, been neglected and supremely dirtied with all the horse muck and hairs!! Have just spent the last three weeks getting it up to *perfect* condition. Hope to impress a few peope tommorow at Early edition, especially as its ten years old now with 107,000 on the clock! Machined polished it a few weeeks ago so virtually swirl free now. Hope to give Ryan a run for his money with cleanliness too heres a preview..

Smart Was it a straight swap?

I think they would of sold if he had put 'starlites' in the description or title. EDIT - we joined on the same day and have the same amount of posts!!

I had the same issue (but it didnt snap off) Just kept soaking wd40 it in and it came off eventually. Mine had been on there for ten years probably!

Lupo 1.4 16V AUA throttle valve behavior
DanGB replied to P.Lindblom's topic in Car Care, Maintenance and Mechanical
Mine occasionally does that, where it revs up and down perhaps 100 revs every second. Rarely happens so not done anything about it. -
I'll hold you to that!!!
-
Thanks for the food for thought there. Any suggestions on discrete wiring engine bay side?
-
Ahh I see. hmm maybe. the starlites are 'quite metallic', so have to do a test perhaps. (Sorry ive kerbed two of them already!) (yes me, and not the other half lol)

Thanks Ray, What or who is reflex?

Hello, I am considering purchasing a two channel amp for my Becker HU and standard speakers. (Yes I do actually quit elike the sound from the standard speakers). The issue being i think the o/p of the becker is only 18 watts RMS per channel, so using the aux input with an ipod or phone, I have to crank the ipod and the HU to full blast, and it still isnt that loud. Im not into really loud music but when your on the motorway etc you need it fairly loud. I really dont think that pushing the HU and ipod volume to max is doing the SQ any favours. My question is, Is there a way to wire the amp without have big chunky wires all over the engine bay (or how to hide it). All I know about amps is that you need a feed from the battery? thanks.
