chris260
Think it's still about a 4hour drive to perth from newcastle , my flatmates were from perth when i lived in newcastle and used to do it pretty regular. Just to warn you!!
starbank
I do York to Edinburgh at least 6 times a year. I ignore the A1 cos it's full of trucks and pensioner's with caravans. Can be good late at night though! I generally do the A19 and A697 through Coldstream - done it in just over 3 hrs - 3 points on my licence arrived shortly afterwards! chris260
They always went the coldstream way too, a fun route by all accounts! I heard they like the speed cameras north of the border! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
zippy
Dont worry about speed cameras going up to perth - theres only a couple (a sneaky one in a 50mph area of Edinburgh `ring-road` - its on a dip & after a flyover). Its `Marykirk-Aberdeen` that has cameras every few miles.
