£250 including 4 new tires fitted, hub kit was £150 including postage from germany, got a spare set of the rims lying as well just incase, i like th way the tires stick out just a littl and curve ok for the arch just catches the innner part of arch on the tred the bodyshop will sort this though then itll be slammed yet again

could be same prob i had after it had been in bodyshop and had doors off etc I experienced probs a bit later a wire worked its way into the way of drivers window which then tugged the loom causing a plug to be undone under dash meaning was id to strip down door and jam window till found it. Ive got probs the now but its either the switch unit itself or the socket for passenger side supposedly these are bad for lawing over time, my driveres sides perfect just go to use passenger switch to get proper use of passneger window, Ill be sorting it when take out dash for retrimming hopefully.

there on still to polish em up and take pics, turned out to be a nightmare cos lupos so damn low, adjust front a little but rears been a damn nightmare still getting a costant rubbing or scuffing i think ive got a brake shoe thats fecked which is causing a lot of the noise cos when cars parked it looks like theres stacks of room so doesnt explain why im hearinf so much so will get it stripped down, weve changed the rear springs on it as well to bring it up so slightly but looking to get the bodyshop to mod the rear quarter arches more as have a larger than norm lip on em so with it gon i reckon ill get away with it on its ass again, will post pics real soon

ians are wider than 7s but his 195s are well stretched to fit em looks nuts though up close, Im running 195 45 15s on my chromes and im going to be running the same on the porsche rims, theyre 152 BY 7S all round although ive wider spares for fitting later if I want, just got my tires this morning 4 brand new nankings with simular tread to proxies for £130 for all 4 brand new so cant complain, mate at ford got me through the books, I couldnt advise really on whats best though as my loops wings have been changed and the rear quarters reshaped and widened

personaly i like porsche caps these ones are temps though got a mate sourcing me 24k gold centres for free, mates dads garage sell porshces and sports cars so theyl be much nicer

Hi there everyone Im still alive and sos the loop, im running around with another car while working on the lupo, was just told today by a mate some pic or pics have propped up in performance vw, so gonna need to check it out. The lupos getting a overhaul and a lot more work done inside and out, just wait till u see it gonna be something else!!!

i should be back out from hospital by then may not have stitche out but what the hell! lol

well first ive had to strip of paint som fool painted them with, honestly its like a diy halfords shot, anyways then some sanding, then use finer grit paper till got a very smooth surface, then 1 bottle of `t-cut` and a lot of polishing this gets out all the little scratches from paper, then have the option to laquer or varnish em as i beleive some do. Ive one almost perfect looking just some stubourn paint parts but lotsa elbow grease seams to be working. I could get em done by someone using a machine but Im getting more satisfaction and supposedly hands better if done right, soon see lol All else fails pay 60 quid, dont think Im going to need to going by the results, the paint removers a ****** on ur skin accidently got it on we couple of times.

Ill take a pic soon of it Im going round it still insuring not missed anyparts, can be a ****** to see if there is cos the shine, so need to look at it all sorts of angles lol

not bad, mines were 77 quid by time paid delivery brought it up but seling the tires took the cost back down, ive mirror polished one so far looks well mint now, lotsa work but well worth it

Im mirror polishing them, they cost me £122 including delivery to my door, that was with tires, Ive a buyer for the tires as profiles too big for the lupo so that takes em down to just costing me 80 quid! Polishings costing me nothing, these arent a permanent fixture, Im still in the middle of buying other wheels, porsche again, yep i will be looking at more modern wheels when they come up in 16s and arent too wide. The other ones Im in middle of getting are 16s front wheels are 225s and rears 255s, so may widen back quarters more to house em.

teledials 15s, sits really nice on em, will take pics when change tires to lower profiles and when polished. I may be buying some more modern porsche rims real soon as well, see how it goes

Took delivery of my porsche wheels today, look nuts on the car, I'm changing tires though want a much lower profile. Theyve had a coat of paint before, but ive rubbed one down and gave it a quick polish and it's well nice, got the wheels real cheap as well, pics coming soon

good stuff saves me scanning it, nice to see my baby in print again, theyre using a pic of it with another two cars beside mines for advertising for the 2005 show

thing with 17s if u aint got coil overs may hit off front spring seats, they looked even close before i changed to coil overs, Ive bought porsche rims, getn them polished before fitting

Being individual doing something different with the stuff u buy to make it look new, but also look amazing. The quality and types of stuff is well down to what kinda music u like, fast punchy stuff, low deep stuff etc Ive opted for a kind of changeable setup as i listen to many types of music so some of the times some of my stuff will not even be running like may filter out a sub etc Im still working on the install at the moment using carbon fibre (real stuff) and some fibreglass, its that cold though im on a go slow at the moment lol Pics should be online in a bit though and Ive never seen a install like it before, some may like some may not, most would prob say over the top with whats happening, but afterall im using it as a demo car now. Hunting the now for new car but keeping lupo

At the moment Ive 2 screens and finnish up prob looking 4 screens all in with 1 removable for track days

my sunvisor screens weight less than standard units, there is purpose for these as well as just games, its my rear view etc and soon to be my side mirrors, trust me the cars well lighter than was originaly!

the wheels r urs mate when uve the cash, Im trying to get new rims at moment

myabve drags not tohe word, but the logic is u full up ur car with people ull be slower going up hills etc, what ive done is made car lighter than it would normaly and by a hell of a lot, when changing parts weve compaerd weights and theres a hell of a difference, the vw seats weigh lots especially.

the rear arches is wings welded on with a slight skim on bottom of lip they spent 3 months insuring werent doing a botch job, Ive also lightened it by doing lots more than the bonnet, Ive removed lots of sound deadning, replaced seats which the two front dont wight as much as as 1 of the original sport seats. The front wings are well lighter, Ive also stripped out the whole rear of the car. The reason Ive done this is so the cars lighter and handles better and also for when taking it places with all the sounds in the weight im saving on the other stuff balances out with all the sounds. Im following the idea of power to weight ratio, u fill up ur car with passengers and ull find more drag I lighten mines which lessons the drag.
