  1. Older? Definitely. Wiser?

    Kev Ush?

I may have seen it in Aberdeen Centre on Wed at lunchtime. It had GTI-T badge stuckon it...
  3. Did you hear the Dons fans chanting "We want six! We want six!" when they went 2-0 up? So funny! As a DUFC fan I was happy enough to lose 4th spot just to see Rangers losing the league. Hopefully McCurry gets hit with a match-fixing investigations for his part in the seasons end.
  4. I guess some folk must do. Footballs about having a laugh, some comical songs, beer & pies the hooligans miss out on the good bits haha. If Rangers lose the title by getting beaten in Aberdeen I think all hell will break loose. Especially when Celtic could win it in Dundee - where their fans will probably just wait for Rangers buses to trundle by
  5. I would torch them & use the water cannon to put out the fires before it spreads to anything valuable
  6. Sad stuff. Too nice a man to be a great football manager (managed Celtic, Reading, Kilmarnock, Scotland assistand & stand-in manager, and not a bad player ). It was on the national news, wee gordon Strachan trying to fight back the tears in an interview. RIP Tommy Burns. (can a mod please delete all the posts of people having a go about this thread please?).
  7. Rangers FC officials are now trying to say that the people who caused the trouble are in no way connected to RFC or their fans Why do they ALWAYS deny any wrongdoing by them & theirs? There are inherant problems that the old boys club there are too scared to try to change. The genuine fans get a bad reputation for this. The people causing the trouble were generally the Buckie drinking, betracksuited, prison tattood, 'God Save The Queen', Union Jacked, bigoted minkers that were upset because they spent their whole Giro getting there & the telly broke. I feel sad for the poor people of Manchester, the Police, even the genuine Rangers fans (a bit ). However, when Scotland are trying to bid to host Euro 2016 it really has killed our chances after all the good work the Tartan Army have done for Scottish football fans reputations. I say they should have shot every one of those f**kers causing the trouble & done the world a favour. Crime statistics up here would have been improved overnight, and benefits costs would have been halved. Incidentally, Rangers may win the SPL title in Aberdeen next Thursday - what are the chances of there being a lot of trouble then? There's already rumours of loads of Gers fans with tickets for the home end, and also rumours of Milwall/Chelsea mobs coming up. Great.
  8. I think it will hit £1.50 a litre for petrol & diesel by the end of summer in UK, and £2.00+ by next summer. It's a bit of a nightmare, but I don't desperately need my car for work, I can use the train or bus - which will cost more anyway as their fuel prices rise too (and they are expensiove for what you get - shitty service, irregular, filthy seats - public transport is brutal in NE Scotland). Interestingly, venezuela is $0.12 a litre or something ridiculous. Brunei is about $0.50 a litre - those countries with reserves are subsidising their peoples lifestyles because they can. If we hadn't sold off our national oil company for a pittance we would not be in such a bad mess - that was the Tory government that did the privatising for a quick buck, and now Labour seem to be treating the UK people & resources with as much disdain as Maggie Thatchers lot did. What pisses me off the most about the tax on fuel is: When we buy a litre of fuel - we pay for the fuel, that's okay... we pay the fuel duty (tax), which is high, but okay... but then we pay VAT on the combination of the two - we pay tax on the tax! If we only paid VAT on the fuel side we'd drop about 10p a litre at todays prices. As far as who I'd pick to take over running the country to sort this out... I don't know. I don't trust ANY of the politicians we have fighting to drive our gravy train. I think I would run it like national service - everyone who works for a living & pays their taxes & national insurance get's their name put in a hat - every 2 years 12 people are picked out to make a UK board of Directors who decide (with public voting) on things, with another 200 MP's in place. This will change every 24 months. The politicians who have failed us by being inept or working the system, or falling over in parks while walking their dog at 2am & accidentally landing inside a rent boy will then have to go and fill in these peoples jobs for the 2 years, taking the same pay & conditions as these people, and when the new board are voted in, these politicians move on to fill in the new boards old jobs temporarily. This way, I believe we'd see a drastic improvement in the UK. If it can work for dury duty then it can work for parliament. Ziptastic.
  9. Garage in Kirkaldy has been charging £1.45 a litre for diesel according to the news. I tried to get petrol in Inverurie this morning but there's none whatsoever. Feckin farmhand idiots. I'll try in Aberdeen later but it looks like a lot of the garages there are dry now too, according to various news sources. Praise be for working from home!
  10. Finishing work at 2:30 PM on a Friday
  11. I'm just messing. I'm completely accident prone, and pulls/strains tend to be much better within a couple of days to a couple of weeks. When the swelling settles you can get a better feel for the damage. I'd suggest scorching hot bath for ages, then sit with an ice-pack on it, best way I've found of helping with these kind of injuries
  12. Does this not keep footballers out for months? Just to make you feel better
  13. I was going to do exactly the same this week but negotiated a great deal on my existing contract. Might still get one for a blu-ray player sometime, and I hear there are rumours of a slimline PS3 in the wings. Also is it not GT5 that is going to feature the Top Gear test track, AND let you use your PSP as your rear view mirror?
  14. Japanese Ebay? Thay'd pay a fortune for it.
  15. The sides make it look a bit like a 1-series. I like it (despite that ).
