Here's a possible route (which can include food stops & petrol stops)

click me

It's not a huge amount of the Lakes, but I've tried to incorporate a bit of everything, including our usual roads. (Im happy to re-plan the Hawes to Richmond part, as it can be **** driving through Swaledale.)

Not sure which one has been chosen?

Seriously, they're just young lads who do it part time, they're coming for a thrash just like the rest of us.

Nothing at all to worry about.

:)

They'll probably drop out at the last minute anyway, like they usually do.

I was looking for production quality really, I just thought with the amount of geeks that live up North, one may have a good one lol

Well ive got a Sony HD camcorder which is broadcast quality, but I sold it on wednesday. The arse biscuit hasnt payed for it yet mind, im tempted to bring it for one last outing. Although sods law dictates if I do it will get broken.

Option 2 is a much better drive, more interesting roads, excellent scenery, and includes Honister pass, which is more spectacular than Kirkstone pass (and less busy).
