The 007 has a choice of 4 springs.

Thats your adjustment.

This has 53 settings.

When I get it on the rollers and mapped I'll get them to fine tune the valve at the same time.

The 007 sounds crap, at half throttle this sounds like a propper blow off valve.

think the sound is perfect.

Can hear it when you want to, turn the stereo on when you don't.

I don't like the noise a dump valve makes.

Plus... This looks better.

£50 including postage can't be sniffed at either lol

I remember we sold one of these Splitter R valves to a man in Greece a while back, here is a message he sent us shortly after receiving the part:

Hi Al

Thank you for such quick delivery and good service! I fit the forge valve to my car but it sounds gay so I sold it to my friend.

To say the least we found it quite funny, especially the fact he'd decided to sell it to his mate because he didn't like it.

Did you have the 007p before? Ive got one and its excellent, you can drive it nicely and get no sound at all.

This sounds cool:

But wastegate chatter = for the turbo.

All the ibiza boys hate the forge split r as well, almost all go for the 007p but with spring of choice - im running the yellow.

PMSL @ you all trying to change my mind :P

I can't understand what there is not to like about it.

It looks good, the sound is not as chavy as the 007 and there is more adjustment.

As we all know more = better

The sound on the 007p is only "Chavy" if you fit it backwards. If fitted the right way round, It's normally silent when used in conjunction with the standard airbox, or has a barely noticeable sound when used in conjunction with an Open cone filter.

It still recirculates mate, you adjust the valve to remove any butterfly flutter.

Its just as safe for your Turbo as a 007p IMO.

50% is being recirculating.

The Turbo isn't back spinning.
