You can have that for £20 posted, I'll even include some screws that wont go through the roof, unlike the ones they send. They only come in beige or grey, black only came in the Golf Mk4 Anni, they are NLA.Around £25 +VAT from the stealers. 99hjhm
I bought it off a Guy in Warwickshire that owned it since March 2007 Just below 60K on the clock. In may 07 it had 45K on the clock. Are you the owner that reregistered it.. Different tax class or something??Did you have any of it repainted?Found your old thread...http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=8728&view=&hl=presty&fromsearch=1 Edited November 7, 2009 by 99hjhm
Presty
no, that wasnt me, sounds like the guy u bought it from got it from the dude i sold it to, looking at the dates....like i said mate it was mint when i had it, i got it from a small dealer in my town who specialised in hat hatches etc, he had it in part ex on something said the guy was an older gent who had it for his wife or something, before that the first registered owner was VW dealer.so no repainting, or re registering on my part mate.only thing up with it when i had it was a small ding in the lower front bumper (u can see it in my pics) where i parked a little too close to a big rock around the car park at the gym i used to go to and the drivers mirror was a little damaged where someone drove too close to me down a lane and clipped it, other than that everything was standard and in very good condition, including the interior and all mechanics, also had full service history up until i sold it if i remember correctly.hope this is helping you with any queries!? It was reregistered as tax free disabled class(or something like that).. Which has added 2 extra previous owners to the log book, it also sent the HPI checks crazy when the guy before me tried to buy it. The front bumper, wings and bonnet have all been painted, as has the tailgate, rear bumper and spoiler... Nasty nasty job! And it didn't have any servicing, not even the cambelt.Nice to hear from a previous owner.

gtibeave
Fitted some Golf MK4 Anni Sill covers...do u need to mod the anni sill covers to fit properly?
99hjhm
No, but I did.Cut about 10mm of the rear edge, this saves you having to fold it up the lip to the door seal. I fitted them using soapy water, others have used a hair dryer... You need to make sure the sill is super clean, as any grit sill show under the vinyl.
