Niche
Having had a couple of 70bhp 1.2 ibiza 3pots as loan cars, one of which i had for 3 months, i can say there was only slight difference in real world performance to the 1.0, i was a little dissapointed with the last 1.2 i had the loan of, just all noise and no go. Im sure the first one felt better!I do like the 1.2 though, its got character When I first drove my Polo I thought it was no go and..well it was surprisingly quiet for an engine with an odd number of cylinders. However it does go once your revs exceed 3,300rpm. Your rev counter moves so slowly before that mark and then it just goes wild.I do miss the 16v lump though but I couldn't take a chance with it...And besides...it's not about speed, it's all about the stereo system and looks Edited October 13, 2008 by Niche
Picola
What hill was that? Maybe the Arosa is the better car after all! Hmm. It was a small hill pulling out of the garage!!
RobG
Hmm. It was a small hill pulling out of the garage!!Driving a big engined car makes you lazy though. I found the same thing when i went from driving the renault back to driving the 2cv
