Thats why the iPhone SDK was released a few months back. The AppStore should be being launched today along with a firmware update for current iPhones to allow to you to run these apps.3G phone also expected, much cheaper pricing, and may have some incentive for people with 1st gen phones (like me) to upgrade without having to take out another contract.
