oohweewee
I've been looking at purchasing a set of classic Porsche wheels for a Lupo (i.e Teledials, D90's etc); can anyone recommend sizes and fitment options? I appreciate i'll need hub adapters etc but just how easy is it?? Your pic's with sizes would be great!

vworks41
I think porker rims in staggered 7x16 front and 8x16's back look mighty fine You can get adapters in 15 to 30mm fitments to get the right offset.
oohweewee
Although staggered 16's sound cool, i'd like to go for 15's if possible. Want to slam the car as low as physically possible.
EaRNi!
i'm running 15x7J all round, ET 22 with 20mm adaptors all round, stick out of the arches very far but looks cool as ****
Stephen
I`ve got 7x16" +8x16" Teledials I think the et is 52.5 and I`ve got 20mm adaptors with 195/40/16 tyres and its just a case of bolt on your adaptor ,mine has 4 allen key bolts then bolt on your wheels easy peasy. Need to watch out for the wheels et so that they don`t stick out too far and rub etcCost wise the adaptors are about £130 ish but can be bought 2nd hand and wheels depend on condition + rarity
oohweewee
Need to watch out for the wheels et so that they don`t stick out too far and rub etcDid Teledials have different offsets then? Or were they just different for the 15's and 16's?? I'm actually looking at the 15" versions.p.s Love the car - a good look!
Philplop
Yeah, there are different offsets for them. Think the most common is 52.5, Earnie's are 22. Came in 6, 7 and 8 inch width too.
oohweewee
A few sleepless nights on eBay this weekend then. I'm having a nightmare so any additional help would be great. And even better, somebody sell me some Teledials!

andyp
et22 will be quite hard to find i reckon, et52's are more common, i soooo wish id kept mine now. im running 30mm adapters on front and 20mm on back of mione, and i have 7's front 8's rear, although i may see if i can get away with 30mm on the back as well for some stance. lol
Kieron
Typical et is 52 but we found with Andy's above that his fronts are about et 65 ish which is why he's running 30mm on the front.

oohweewee
I've done a little research and found that earlier model 944's have and ET23 fitment and later ones had an ET52.3 (which is more appropriate i should imagine). Got my eyes on one or two sets; what's a fair price?
andyp
depends on what size they are and what condition.....you can pay 100-300 quid for a set

J_Lupo
haha. This is why I love being so new to the "dub" scene.I have to ask, what on earth does "et" mean and the "offset" I know it's something to do with the rims, rim sizes and all that jazz, just want someone to put an exact finger on the subject.Sorry it's not related to your question!.
