Tigz™
I've been doing a little reserch on this for the Polo.Upgrading the front anti roll bar on a GTI will increase understeer.VW have designed the cars to be driven by girls and Crusoe so they naturally understeer. To cure this a second rear anti roll bar should be fitted (one is fitted, but is built unto the rear beam)This is on a mk4 Golf, but the princable remains the same.http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/permalink/44309...ead.aspx#444749
heartagram
If there is enough interest in cup car ones and someone can give me a template I might be able to get some manufactured...Would probably need around 30 people to make it economical for the manufacturer to produce them and make it cheap enough for everyone to buy one.Thats just a rough guess off the top of my head though.. Philplop
VW have designed the cars to be driven by girls and Crusoe so they naturally understeer. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> Could be interested if they'd be beneficial and a decent price. LINCOLNSHIRESLUPOGTI
I would recommend changing the front anti-roll bar bushes first. I did mine at 55,000 miles and it totally transformed the front end responsiveness and turn in crispness.Cheap and easy first option. angelo77
Has anyone tried powerflex bushes? My car is on the drive in bits at the moment waiting to go back together.Upgrading to the H&R cup kit so it would be relitivly easy to fit these.RegardsAngelo
