Hi everyone

And yes I present to you a little news in the mdrrrr family
It will aim to take me to work every day and to ensure the shot during the interviews on the polo and there golf: dance:

Tadaaaaaa I present to you "chick" don't ask me why the photos speak for her Even mdrrrr
09598EC1-96D4-4886-86F0-3626663DC1E0.thumb.jpeg.d3c32d200c02356cd67ab309813a4acd.jpeg83BE3147-D934-49EC-8A05-39A0C53DCED0.thumb.jpeg.bd01962df2715ac28ac5e920e9841552.jpeg054DB40A-58F0-4F8F-A64A-C381138ECC4B.thumb.jpeg.e808d96a0e1f9fc7802e4155c199e79a.jpegDF7D28CC-D257-4D0E-B779-58DCD1BF45DE.thumb.jpeg.7d20bd4cb2c63b4d1ba6d360c8326fe2.jpeg

So it is a lupo tdi75 base finish (see the label in the trunk)
It has the sunroof so it's cool but to check because it does not work
It therefore has 215,000 km and the distribution was done in the garage so I am cushy
I passed the vagcom with the previous owner and I have the fault code G27 and G28 which came out but nothing bad
Then before hitting the road I went to fill up mdrrrr uhhhhh 32€ and I was on the job too cool
So business to follow guys because she's going to have the right to a little preferential treatment

 And now

since the days I bought it, a lot of things have been done on it

above there were Lupo GTI xenon front lights, Lupo GTI rear lights, OEM ancora rim, mfd, triplex with a small strand of OEM antenna, heated seat, electrochrome interior mirror, electric exterior mirror, cruise control,  in short, I started from afar because it is basically a simple basis

hello everyone,

I will list you the modifications made to it since I bought it, the first big modification is the assembly of xenon headlights of Lupo GTI, here is the report of the assembly

22968A65-3C6D-4445-BD10-1C52A3D576B7.jpeg.4cc1e3f64346047cb29c78bf7508ad61.jpeg

first put the chick on the operating table
Then as I did not want to touch the original beam, I perform the operation on the beam of the xenon headlight:mrgreen:
In a 1st time it is necessary to bring 2 diodes ref: VS-95SQ015 which you will find on InternetBDEFF044-18E0-49C7-8D52-0E2B9188843C.jpeg.c888e77431ae37d68949dad6f0f18464.jpeg

installation of the diode of the T8 of the gti xenon headlight
 So T8/4 to T8/1
Then in my case I want my xenons to have an original operation which implies that the xenon indicators must work and that the pilot light is in the indicator of the grille
A little reminder about the lupo tdi
Indicator in the grille and pilot light in the headlight
And on the xenon headlight of the GTI
blinker in the xenon headlight and pilot light in the grille
 So big dilemma 😤
 Race results
The T8/2 must be cut from the xenon socket to about 5cm
Now take the T8/2 from the headlight side and weld it to the T8/3F42E485A-732D-48D3-AB65-11641A2138C7.jpeg.bead17fed2eb6658f666410c20ed6c17.jpegthis operation allows the bi-xenon shutter to work and make the headlight operational
So more than solve the concern of the turn signal and the night light
To do this, cut the T8/8 from the xenon plug and isolate the wire that comes out of the T8/8 plug because it will no longer be used.AD5C3AD0-4A73-4BDB-8DA2-5E1DE7D7DCAC.jpeg.440caeb3cb2fb41300f1438b1a832d6b.jpeglike that
and also that of the grille indicator so the grey/white for the left and the black/green for the right
With male/female crimp plugs0634B819-AB4E-47EF-A3ED-17985CCC78FC.jpeg.ab6cea7b319db354445eb59e298c4c8a.jpeglike this one
Take the plugs and put one on the wire on the lamp side of the grille turn signal and connect it to the wire of the T8/8 on the xenon lamp side (purple and orange) so now the turn signal will be in the xenons: dance:
So now it remains to put the pilot light in place of the indicators of the grille:?:
Nothing could be simpler for that mdrrrr
You remember having cut the wire of the T8/2 suddenly put on the wire which comes out of the socket a crimp plug
Then on the flashing wire on the harness side also put a crimp plug and connect the T8/2 together with the flashing wire and everything will be operational: dance:
 Now on to the pictures1DF63AD3-5210-41AF-90A6-9B7EDDBD0CBD.jpeg.054aa8b955d259448eac1a7f46b68409.jpeg

xenons in place🤗😘

full headlight and pilot light Check
 So everything is operational 😍🤩

Small important clarification for the night lights I took P21/4W bulbs to be able to use only the 4W part so in the base of the bulb holder you just have to manage so that only one filament works and as much as possible that of the 4W because if you  used the 21w the flashing block will melt

Hello everyone
today I'm going to share with you the refurbishment of the Lupo GTI spoiler bought for 200€ or 174.04£
426B024E-98D1-4F47-87D1-461DD3F3CC59.jpeg.cd5d0cc63a797d25b46b61740fb613fb.jpeg

it looks good but it has suffered a lot, here is the damage closer442B729A-7AE1-4537-B58F-D2752A848BE4.jpeg.63c465433ac7b05790281e86032f5e56.jpeg86DEF323-37EF-4FD6-8E85-1A8EDBA6433E.jpeg.0aa94aa8b2953436eee9d66ea75ee953.jpeg

already both fixing inserts damaged, one missing and the other broken rusty

9F1612CA-9E7B-4A56-A54C-CC48B318B761.jpeg.07b0e21a27c01355808fb8feb61ecdd0.jpegDBE511A4-1C31-4E68-BB1A-0132FF30F368.jpeg.659188835ab8d5d1667bbe8dce887765.jpeg

then the internal part of the brake lights completely oxidized, so yes there is a lot of restoration work, but good for a piece that cannot be found, I will make the effort

EE09EB66-2A9A-49E5-BABB-6A5C7A714864.jpeg.4d2e8dcdbbc828b21690d9e93ba187e2.jpegE7DABA51-0BB1-43F5-8DA3-3E31C70E8ACC.jpeg.89b409583a156c9dee2c599589837c6e.jpegE41137A1-8006-4617-A586-99A0601BF6A4.jpeg.8e2287d9a7db04eef04e49ecabedc895.jpeg3DCD5897-DA99-4ACF-8F87-086711DAD474.jpeg.c72d0f9ce8d5b9693dbb538b625a7cde.jpegCB100A86-7D47-47BE-B767-9E5B32878621.jpeg.63b6e7cecfcbf161c79ab043c9e0ec84.jpeg

first of all for the internal part of the stop lights, my choice was a 12V kitchen led strip bought in a DIY store, then I changed the fixing screws of the lights which were also all oxidized,

after having rid the electronic board of all the electronic components, I was able to cut and glue the 12V led strip on it, and after a test it works perfectly

after the electrical part, I moved on to the fixing part of the spoiler, after having extracted the remaining oxidized insert, my choice was to inject a casting resin to fill the hole, but the spoiler had to be cut not the  choice

for information the casting resin has a complete drying time after 7 days, so after 14 days I was able to drill the resin to install my stainless self-tapping insert

now that the problem with the inserts is solved and the electrical part works, I tackled the drilling of the tailgate0F11CE52-9B39-4F5B-BA1B-9F31923EE886.jpeg.9b6169516587a3c07d9d45960af5146a.jpeg1474CE35-2596-4FD1-B315-221C231F5A7B.jpeg.d3de01545a320ce6890012786441f911.jpegB5BE09EB-CB17-4885-A1C9-95F1E8904DA9.jpeg.c6517abf3e24710b542ba986be1983e4.jpeg

after this step I looked in my stock of wires, a wrong / female plug to be able to connect the brake lights to the Lupo

now the cosmetics, blue is good but on a yellow Lupo I prefer to see it in yellow so after having it primed at the body shop, I did the sanding and then deposited it for the paint job

hello everyone,

yesterday I received a large package094DC7AB-D983-49F7-9C01-7EE855E931A1.thumb.jpeg.fe17602c6ad56076103071b73a708f90.jpeg

and inside there are the parts that I needed to be able to mount the central rear exhaust

hello everyone,

well I managed to transfer the sheet metal which was welded on the plate to make the modification

Suffice to say that this step was not easy, because in addition to drilling the weld points it was necessary to play the hammer chisel but hey it's done phew

Hi FraH2o

thank you for your interest in my garage and it's far from over because I got new elements

I managed to find myself a GTI stainless steel exhaust line to go with my bumper

so I positioned the sheet to trace the cut

so I'm ready to cut
and i also found the flat spare wheel to fit in the housing

That's a very good project and I follow you very interested.

Will you use another rear bumper or you'll mod your?

I also would try to do your project, buat the rear gti wheel housing i think is very hard to find

yes the part is becoming very hard to find, either you have to find a 100hp or a wrecked GTI, for the rear bumper I already have it, it's a 100hp one and it's painted in body color so it's great, don't don't take a GTI bumper because this one will be too big and won't fit your tdi

Hello everyone

today is the big day to attack the site to be able to put the rear exhaust in the centerIMG_1932.thumb.jpeg.a2eff970ffea9b85b439cca60c3b0ab2.jpeg

so after having clearly identified the assembly, I traced the location for the cutout70764090844__AF0E08EF-41B5-4649-BB07-30021168B62A.thumb.jpeg.cde15bde58de82a9f70168e5194f2cbf.jpeg

a little light will be very useful to me
IMG_1939.thumb.jpeg.3be20e23deaf6e23c2f33310fcc14335.jpeg

and here is the hole

IMG_1944.thumb.jpeg.ed127afd6b59c33211dc06d5b43f4f20.jpeg

therefore stripping of the bare metal sheets then degrease with acetone

IMG_1947.thumb.jpeg.76303bf291755070986f6f0b916cacc0.jpeg

then gluing the two parts with Teroson 5055

IMG_1948.thumb.jpeg.db63b186ea2fc198a6f549e568392970.jpeg

once the two parts spread with glue I redid a cord in order to fill the last intersticesIMG_1949.thumb.jpeg.18b0dfc351aee6db566110c25e6ad424.jpeg

IMG_1950.thumb.jpeg.fe281179735ac32dce5edae44188fea8.jpeg

then installation of the plate

then I made a joint on all the lower part in order to isolate the whole
more than left to dry for at least 24 hours and tomorrow afternoon I will tackle the assembly of the stainless steel line

Hello everybody

small program change, during the assembly of the stainless steel exhaust line of the Lupo gti, I realized that the assembly did not mount

IMG_1956.thumb.jpeg.518cffbecfcb03ea3effc003fd36059a.jpeg

the proof in image, in my opinion the bumper of the 100cv is smaller than that of the gti which explains that the stainless steel line does not pass

suddenly by checking in my stock of parts, I got my hands on a slightly worn original 100hp

so I restarted it by plugging the holes with spot welds, then to reinforce it on the thin sheets, I put steel cold welding
