In all seriousness I can go to a Merc dealership and get new parts for my 13 year old GL320 no problem. I tried a VW dealership and they don’t want know

But yeah, try another dealer. Vdub heritage now stock some Lupo bits. But in europe (if they decide to sell to us Brits), there are still lots of brand new spares available. Lots and lots.
