  1. Good man i will make more of an effort to clean my car as well as yours for edition this year i kinda laughed at myself when entering show and shine this year. I tried to clean it but had the hangover from hell so was a bit half hearted compared with your efforts. Hopefully see you again in the year ahead My car needs a good mop me thinks
  2. All i can say is go to SOUTHAM BODIES Gregg and Ian are great blokes and no their stuff if you explain your situation and are paying cash i'm sure he will sort it. They are the only people i would let do body work on my car .
  3. Will be there for sure the last one was a real good turn out.
  4. Don't plan on having a serious accident most of the cars i've owned have not had airbags fitted and i think the position i am sat due to my height means that i would really have to try hard to hit my head on the wheel maybe if i took my hand off the wheel and had no seatbelt on. But seeing as i'm a trainee driving instructor amongst other thing i don't plan on this. Like other people have said sometimes airbags can do more harm than good. Plus as a final point a 280mm wheel looks so wright in a lupo it would be wrong to deny it a place.
  5. Nothing unsafe about the momo 280 wheel got one in mine and have driven a few thousand miles since. There so out the way you'd have to try really hard to hit your head off it if thats what people are thinking, also you'd have to not have a seatbelt on. Makes the steering feel so good like a go-kart. Like the car Emz look forward to seeing the new wheels
  6. Does it matter that they dont have anti-rattle pins will it make any brake squeal am tempted to buy these.
  7. Good work looks great already sure you'll find it fairly easy after the twin engined beast
  8. What about the red stuff pads as they only a few quid more than green stuff are they any better or is it just worth buying the ferodo ones as i will be looking to upgrade soon to.

  10. Very nice looks like you've been busy since me an dann came over to get the wheels off you. looked goo then, even better now
  11. you could even try a 195/40/14 i know continental make some and a friend was running them on an 8 with no trouble. http://www.tyres-pneus-online.co.uk/car-tyres-CONTINENTAL-195-40-r14-A.html?partnerDomain=GooglePS-UK&xtor=AD-47 Also 195/45/14 are fine dependant on et of course which sound like your only gonna find out when it could be too late. Good luck
  12. I'm quite interested though it's only a couple of weeks after i go snowboarding so if funds allow I'll be their.
  13. The weitec's are really good quiality helped Dann fit his at the weekend. Good ride quality and easy to adjust worth the money.
  14. I'd like to get an outside space as now definatly keeping my loop and will at least have a change of wheels to add to the list before UD's. Cheers Sam
  15. Yep i took my adjusters out on the back earlier in the year before a meet at the rico one eve in my haste to get it back together forgot to fully tighten wheel nuts on one side. Felt like a right berk when i realised what i had done but at least i found out before it caused any damage to anything. Now i doublbe check them when doing anythin to do with wheels
  16. Good work would love to do something like this myself maybe in a few years when i hopefully have more disposible income
  17. Look in pvw or golf+ theirs a company that sell a handheld one for about £40 me and a couple mates got one between us works in various vag cars. has a disk that comes with it to loa don your computer and tell you what the codes mean and allows you to clear them. Really is good, Sam. Found it. www.gendan.co.uk/pvw £39.10
  18. could be tyre on coilover or part of wire loom that goes under one of the driveshafts or arm on chassis. Or loose wheel nuts sounds silly but easily done. hope this is some help. O or brake hose catching wheel.
  19. Just updated myself on your thread always a good read to see what you've been up to. Great respect for building a little track slayer and driving it how it should be, flat out. Let's hope you and the little arosa get through the next year and hopefully i will get to see you on track as we plan to make a trip over if all goes to plan .
  20. Although it's not hard to do yourself if you are unsure or don't have the tools £80 sounds like a bargain price i know people who have paid that just for a geometry set-up.
  21. Very nice loop keep up the good work
  22. V-POWER FTW its all i really use i don't really care that it costs more it makes very little difference to the pocket but my sport loves it. In fact every car i have used it in seems to have worked better how it should. I would not use any real cheap tesco 95 or similar as I have been told and belive it's not as good for your engine.
  23. He just has the arches rolled an they sit really well, sorry Dan thought i might as well answer
  24. 165/50/15 bridgestone potenza's, Cheers for the positive comment
