  1. They're completely different sizes and as dubsy says, the fitments are also different. They're on my list of things to see if I can modify them to fit, but it'll be a lot of fiddley work.
  2. Rim Style I think it was mate. Should be a tenner plus postage. So I've been throwing my toys out of my pram this week as things seem to be taking a lot longer to sort than I'd like. Part of it is my fault while I waited for some new dishes to be made but I've been without other parts for 6 months and I can't even remember when I took the car to the paint shop Sadly I don't think it's now going to make Early Edition which I really wanted to do but I'm hoping we'll have some decent updates over the next week or so. To cheer me up, El sent me these comparisons from when she got the car to now.
  3. I'm not a huge Am1/Am90 fan but those red Am1's are lovely. Jamie - get some pics up
  4. My mate runs an alloy polishing business and only recommends Zepplin for after care. Mike the Polisher on E38 also recommends it. It's alot finer than Megs and Autosol. I'll try and get some pics up later of the finish I've had on my wheels with it.
  5. Zepplin Mirror Finish is the best for maintaining a shine. Autosol is too coarse to use on a polished face by hand. One polished put a coat of Gtechniq C5 on as Pete said.
  6. Had my first proper nose around this at UD and I love all the little details. Lots of it will no doubt go unnoticed by most, but that's what I love about it. It's all about the attention to detail and there few that can compare to this for attention to detail.
  7. Mine are here (in 2 parts)... https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.570869742931331.1073741825.135938893091087&type=3 https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.570896806261958.1073741826.135938893091087&type=3
  8. Thanks mate. They sit great. I think I'll have a try with some 195's for the rears with a bit of camber. I've got to change a hub as one of the holes is threaded so shouldn't be too much more work to pop a couple of shims in while we're there.
  9. The 165 on a 7 seems to work... I think it'll be too much for a 7.5" though? Have you got any photos mate? If I was going to go for a 195, it'd be for the rears which would be a 7.5 but even then, I'm not sure there's enough stretch?
  10. Everything about these wheels is a pain in the chuff! The new lips should be here tomorrow then it's time to build them up but I'm struggling to find some tidy valves - they use a 90 degree type rather than the usual straight type but the hole is approx 11mm where as the Rays valves are 8mm. Anyways... tyres are my next problem. What would you run with a fitment like this? I was originally planning on 195/40/16 but I'm not sure it'll give enough stretch on a 7/7.5" rim to tuck in the arch...
  11. Well deserved mate, well done. Easily one of the best cars there!
  12. It's been through a couple of people since me. Went to one of pro3mark's friends when I sold it. He then sold it to one of my mates who sold it to another local lad. I don't know the last owner and now its with James. I've been to view it twice since I sold it but circumstances haven't really suited to buy it back.
  13. Oooh, oooh, that's my old one.
  14. I was gutted when I saw this on Facebook. Looking forward to seeing it at Early Edition though. Glad you got the pikeys!
  15. I've threaded a bolt on the rear hub too mate so share your pain. New hubs are about £70-80 so not the end of the world. Have you tried measuring the bolts and adapters up off the car? Push the bolt through the hole in the wheel then see how far it sticks out the back with the spacer next to it. I can't imagine theyre too much longer.
  16. Looking good! Definitely go for an RARB, although you may want to look at the Jabba one over the Whiteline now you're on coilies. I'm only on -30mm springs and the whiteline made a nice difference but i've seen a few people say the whitelines weren't as effective when they were on coilies as it's a thinner bar than the Jabba one.
  17. Nah. It's still with my mate. No idea if it's been painted or where they are with the steering wheel My replacement dishes haven't arrived for the wheels and I have no time to build them, fit the new coilies and the brakes so at this rate we'll be lucky to make it to Early Edition
  18. Now they're wild! Nice little line up there too Joe.
  19. It depends on the width and offset too but you can run 16s no problem. You may need your arches rolled if theyre particularly wide/low offset.
